1/6 Sideshow Star Wars Scout Trooper 1/6th Scale Figure

Wow this will be my first Sideshow purchase in over a year. I've been waiting for this news a long time (as I'm sure many have), so I'll def buy 2 for sure. Finally time to update the old Hasbro armor.

Watch people go back & start buying up all those left over Endor troopers that are still rotting on websites all over the world now.

Those probably would've sold better back in the day if they'd had some troopers to be displayed with. A 2.0 release after the Endor heroes might do okay. Can't say I'd buy them for certain... no, I would. Though I think I'd prefer a re-release of the Rebel fleet trooper or Hoth trooper.

Speaking of which. I wonder would a true 1:6 scaled Speeder Bike be longer than the one from Hasbro?

Depends on which length they use for this bike. It's given as either 4.4 meters which would need to be somewhere around 29 inches for 1/6 scale, or 3.0 meters at 20 inches. I personally think 4.4+ meters is more accurate.

The Hasbro one I have here - which I think looks pretty good - is in-between at 23.25 inches end to end.

I'm not going to quibble over a few inches so long as it looks good, isn't massively overpriced, isn't polystone, and is within the "feel right" scale.

But Honestly, I only need the helmet so I can put it next to Commander Gree's in my Yoda display.

I just like the camo look of the scouts.

Actually, the better thing to do is - because they're so dirt cheap, you get how ever many you like, strip them down, keep the gear, sell the crappy buck & head, then find a HT TT slim equivalent body to complete the figure, & you have a great Endor soldier.

I might do that for a second figure at some point.

Someone mentioned recently that they heard from a source/friend's brother's girlfriend's mail carrier's dry cleaner's roommate that HT Han would be released soon to coincide with Episode VII.

Rumor is that HT gt Arnie kim to sculpt a Harrison ford head for them. [ REDACTED] has appearently seen it, as well as the new C3p0.

I'm hoping he managed to get a better ford likeness than his last attempt.
