I don't think it was glued, I can see where they singed it to stop it fraying, I rethreaded then folded a small edge and glued to stop it pulling out as it when back on Ove the arms, then when back in place just pulled it tort

ok thanks for the tip...will do the same

Update: damnit...I rushed it and snapped one of the little plastic parts on the chest you use to loop into - used a small (for glasses) tool - no biggie as it was a very small part and impossible to see, but 'I KNOW ITS THERE NOW'

My EX landed in Italy today so I opened him up and posed him a bit.
Not considering accuracy I really love this figure. Tight fitting armor, nice weathering, big bad sniper gun (glad I got the EX because without it the figure is clearly missing something). A pleasure to pose.
BUT
SSC should forget about prometheus and buy a bunch of Truetype from HT. The body is awkwardly proportioned and awkwardly balanced, even if this time joints are pretty tight (neck excluded).

Wish waist pouches not so white, but love the figure. Will have to pick up a 2nd one. Sorry wrapper not off head, he went back in his box.

I'm gonna airbrush those mid torso when mine arrives tomorrow. They are just too clean.

Curious to see what that looks like - if you're feeling up to it, can you take some progress photos? I have some transparent colors here that I can mix to make most any other color combination and airbrushing is the way to go I might give it a shot - a light shot.

Even if these were perfectly accurate I wouldn't want an army. But a pair is cool, like cops patrolling endor using the buddy system. Or the sniper/spotter combo mentioned previously. For now I plan to stick with a single though.

Opened my scout...head seems rather loose...anyone else?

Also always disappointed when there is a QC issue and I have to get a replacement. Sideshow contacted.

Will do Pixelpiper. I have the complete set of Vallejo paints and washes to play with. Sideshow did airbrush weathering on there Boba Fett. So gonna do the same with my Scout Trooper. I might even redo the boots. Coz I find them too dirty. Its like they sink the whole feet in the mud. Will update you.

Very nice. So far I've only used my airbrush twice, so I'm eager to get as much practise as I can. What I'm finding the most difficult right now is knowing exactly where the spray will hit or where it's hitting when painting something really thin (such as a lightsaber blade) and I'm currently missing. ;)

Use scratch cardboard to get a feel for your gun. Air guns can be VERY precise. Then paint this mwahahhahaha:

***PLEASE NOTE FOR ALL AUSSIE FREAKS!!***

FYI guys. I just got off the phone with Popcultcha and they have the Scout listed with the E-11 rifle (SSC Exclusive). They've just checked and this IS NOT actually the case and are amending their website immediately. This goes for places like Shopforme, etc as they all come from the same Australian distributor.

So anyone expecting to get an EX version through them better jump on the Sideshow site while they are still available!

I really like the look of this figure.
I know there are inaccuracies, but I really don't find them that distracting.
At any rate, I decided to wait for it to arrive at my local hobby shop and buy it here. Hopefully they'll get it in soon.
