Very nice. I may do the same and add a sandtrooper.

Thanks. I have the sandies on top of the detolfs with the Dewback.

I love the diorama pieces, but I don't really care about the stands.

I put the diorama pieces around the Scout sans base. I think they work if you can obscure the sides that look like they attach to the base.

Thought I'd make use of another TrueType (slim) I had laying around. Was hoping Sideshow would've added a ribbed neck seal. Ended up using a spare from a Sideshow sandtrooper. Just waiting on the speederbike......

Went back and looked at these photos again. I've never tried one before but I'm going to have to get a new body do a body swap on atleast one of my scouts. Does the body suit cover the neck even without the extra neck seal?

Got mine last night. One of SS's best to date. I'm thinking the torso girdle thing could use a touch of color, perhaps a tea bath? Very nice in ever other way, though not as stable as I might like. I use stands for my display, so it's no big deal.

I think it's getting close to $100 just with a helmet and body - if someone's lucky - $20 for a body, $20 for the Hasbro original, $50 for the helmet. Now let's add $20 for the pants, $10 for the gloves and let's call it $50 for the custom waist band and pouches. That's $170 now. I don't think this custom can be made today with all-bought parts for less than the Sideshow version.

So not exactly $20. ;)

I got the soldier story body and pants and bunch of other bits and pieces of clothing and heads in a lot of 2 shoe boxes from a local seller for $40 cdn who was getting rid of his extras during a move. The tomy scout helmet i got off ebay for under $10 since i was the only one who bid. Gloves came from my Praji where i put gloves on him rather then give him the gauntlets since they made him too long armed. Bill who used to be a forum member charged $15 or $20 for the cumberbums during one of his first runs.

Can't wait to get this one. Still waiting for it to arrive in our stores here in Canada. The exchange rate is going to kill me as well.

ok, how do you assemble the stand pieces....? lol I am terrible at this. Body is decent. Not HT tight, but not as bad as I feared. Looks fantastic, aside from the glow-in-the-dark white pouches

Got my scouts today and I love them!

Only thing is, when I opened the non-exclusive version, he didn't have the normal standing boots. All he came with was the bent-shaft ones. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I was able to pay my last flex on Friday , said it was shipping in Friday still nothing .... I contacted SSC it never left the warehouse !?!?!?

Ordered on Saturday the 8th, paid by PayPal and mine is "shipping soon." They emailed me yesterday morning to ask if my address was a business and what the business name is. If I check the order on their site, my billing has the full/correct address with the business name, but shipping has a blank line where the business name would be. Every single character of both shipping and billing addresses is identical except for that one blank line. I replied, but I'm a tiny bit dismayed this needed an email honestly.

I figured out the stand pieces....imo, makes the stand a little buys, so the extra logs staying in the package. Had a HT Slim laying around for a year - finally used it today on the Biker Scout. The only issue is the shoulder area - definitely better on a true type slim. Never switched out before so took me a moment to realize the connector pieces stay...did end up using the Pro neck part - fits a little more snug for the helmet.

And first thing I did when I disassembled him, got some dirt and grimed the white pouches a bit. Looks really nice

Also to try to solve the loose head syndrome I'Ve put floor wax ( same as used on the stormtrooper armour ) on the ball socket and let dry before reconnecting.
one coat worked somewhat so I'll be applying a couple more
