I've finished Anniversary, which is the original TR remake, and it was really fun. I got about halfway through Legend, also good so far.

As for the original series, anything after part 2 is dreck. But the first is a classic. Lara defintely deserves her icon status.

I agree the first and the most recent, Legend, are the best.

I don't play a lot of video games, but I really got into the first Tomb Raider and I think Lara is a great character. Angie is definitely perfect casting - I'd love to see her as Lara in 12" and PF, but SSC doesn't have that license.

After seeing all those costumes I think I'm going to have to get Legends...

So is this based on a certain actress you've sculpted before?

I hope not, I should get back to finishing my Jolie I've had lying around for years. She was pretty close to completion, but I just lost the desire to sculpt.

haha! Well, not deliberately, but it may bare some resemblance, you'll have to decide when more shots are shown. It was based on the game designs, just sculpted to feel like you pulled her into the real world....or as real-world as action figures get.

Jolie is fun to sculpt, I hope you go back to your piece!

I agree the first two were the most fun. Tomb Raider had a lot to do with making the PlayStation such a big success, along with Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. I hadn't heard that much about Anniversary until now, if it's that good then I guess I should give it a try.

It looks there are plenty of costume options available in Legend, so its likely Sideshow will offer up some other versions of Lara down the road, including the "classic" TR outfit... hopefully on a newly designed female body!
