That excaliber looks like crap. I'd prefer some weaponry. Hopefully some grenades to fit on her belt or another gun or something.

i agree it looks a bit out of place, because if some one said excaliber to me i would not picture that sword. its not very english looking ... lol

I think they'll do the "traditional" Legend/Old-School TR outfit Lara Croft when they finally release a female prometheus body. No reason to waste that on the female Buck.

Heh, not too into Arthur? I dunno to me that sword doesn't even look like it would do the job of a sword. Here's hoping the exclusive is something cool.

Well, if she doesn't already come with 'em, I'd like a pair of Uzi machine pistols or even a grenade launcher, but not particularly interested in that fanciful version of Excalibur.

having played the game the sword is a great exclusive, if I hadn't played the game i would be like, wtf is this?

*spoiler* if anyone is about the buy the game or not finished with it skip the next part.

you're right it doesn't do the job of a sword it actually shoots electric energy blasts. seriously.

I'm sorry, but that is one of the poorest weapon designs I've seen in a long time. I think they were deliberately trying to be avant-garde and just ended up making something more like an alien spoon than an actual sword. :lol

Well that's just retarded. I guess my bias as a History major is coming through now, it also doesn't help that I'm writing a Medieval Celtic History term paper on Arthur.. talk a bout a freaking headache.

Ironically enough that's the bit I'm writing now, and I'd like to take this chance to say Geoffrey of Monmouth was a fantastic forger but cannot sort out time. He also liked to borrow his stories from the Welsh and rewrite them to suit his own needs... shall I go on? :lol

I meant Merlyn's magic. :banana :)

actually in the game there is a funny part where one of Lara's scientist buddies and her tech guy are arguing because the scientist is sticking to realistic history and the tech guy keeps messing with him about the supernatural...he also mixes up Excalibur with The Sword in the Stone I think and it drives the scientist guy crazy(you hear them in your ear piece) anyway, you'd enjoy that conversation, it's pretty funny.

Hm, may actually have to check out the game. Haven't played a Tomb Raider since.. maybe the first? *Sigh* All I know is that there's no such thing as "real" history when it comes to anything Celtic, half the recorded history was probably made up and Merlin's magic was probably a romance invention of the French because in actuality IF Merlin existed he was a prophet and had no actual connection or contact with 'Arthur' if HE even existed. :lol God I hate the end of semesters. I need to play a game where I can kill things.

I play games killin things all semester long.....

I'm not sure how they would do a Lara Croft figure in the more traditional outfit. I do think there are plenty of female character they could do in their other lines that would justify creating a new female body, such as Aayla Secura and some Leia variations.

Has this already been posted?...
