I will try to post more pics of the individual figures (which I kit-bashed as PMCs to accompany Lara) when I get my camera back from the Canon workshop next week.

I was just looking at mine the other day and was thinking the same thing. I'd love to see a Lara with more detailed shorts and top. Sideshow did a great job with her, but HT would knock her outta the park.

Yeah, I definitely welcome HT Lara. Hopefully it would be something like Underworld Lara.
I'd also really hope that they do a specific body, because I think the standard female TT torso at least really wouldn't work, proportions and everything.

sorry this is a random bump for a thread kinda old,

but say, HYPOTHETICALLY
if i were to sculpt the real life lara croft (angelina jolie),

would it be best that I match scale with this sideshow version so that people can still use the same outfits?
Or is the sideshow version at an unpreferable scale? should i base it off of hot toys female bodies?
I figure lara croft's accessories/clothing aren't really that hard to find, and so maybe I shouldn't be limited by the already released sideshow version?

ah, and is hot toys slightly smaller scale that SS? what scale would I have to match it to? I don't actually own any female figures or heads

I guess I could match it with a regular hot toys head too since they should be in scale with each other

There are two sizes of SS female body that I know of:
One slightly smaller and one slightly bigger than the TT, (I think, it's difficult with all these heels etc.)

But the heads on the SS figures I have, particularly SS Lara, is bigger that the HT heads, so I think you have leeway either way.

More importantly I think is the circumference of the neck, which at a glance looks to be a fairly similar diameter.

Yeah, just match it to an existing head really. You could also find a range of full body shots of Jolie, and then try and scale the head from that range, but probably works just as well the other way.

I've got a Lara on the way to me. What does she look like on the female hot toys true type?(with the rubber torso) i've got one of those on it's way as well.
