Congrats, it's a great figure with some mods. The Phicen Large Bust seamless body (Tan) works perfectly for me.

It's always amazing when collectors are able to transforms something cheap and outdated into something HQ looking.

Makes me sad knowing that I'm unable to finish "Onimusha: Warlords" Samanosuke custom...

Is the parts mostly the same as the Enterbay one? I always wanted that one, looks sick.

And yeah, Sideshow makes the worst 1/6 figures out of the box. They're model kits, begging to be painted and modded.

Nah, Enterbay one is from "Onimusha 3: Demon Siege".
I have it and outside of armour and head looking sharp it's not good, unfortunately.

The custom I worked on is based on old Dragon Models figure of Samanosuke from the first game.

I even bought it in set with their Kaede.
She could've been an easy custom really...

Alas, I just have no money to spare on bodies and heads.

Pretty much. Unfortunately, it's not about their figures being cheap and outdated but about the overall western mentality when it comes to this hobby. Look at how many 12" licensed products were announced or showed in US during last two years, all of them are sooo 80s looking.

I got her for $140. Not horrible but I guess it's okay. And yes I'm definitely considering a repaint. Also are those the stock shorts? They seemed a bit long in all the pics I've seen.

Ryan P did an amazing job and gave me some good direction on mine. It didn't come out as good as his but the GF loved so that's all that mattered lol

That's a steal! No way can you find her at that price nowadays. Yeah, everything is stock and the shorts is stretchable hence why it looks shorter on the Phicen body. Be careful though, you need to wet the outfit before putting it on the body because the clothes are a bit too tight, you don't wanna risk tearing it.

Whaddaya talking about man, that turned out AMAZING! You should be proud to have one hell of a great figure, post mod. That repaint looks sweet and nice touch on the attention to detail, such as the grenades. What is that pic next to the snow jacket? Is it from the box?

Here are some closeups of the outfit and body. The full list of mods are:

- Drybrushing the outfit, boots, binoculars, guns, hands, backpack for extensive weathering.
- Full repaint of the head and grappling hook.
- Sculpted additional strands of hair with epoxy.
- Made a new belt out of black double tape since the stock belt has rooted away.
- Made a harness out of thin wire to hold the grenades on the belt.
- Made a harness on top of the backpack to hold the rifle.
