In my opinion, the pistol grip hands looks the best when posing a figure with a lightsaber. Looks more natural.
It's also good for the 'finger-on-chin' Tarkin style contemplation... if you can get the arms to bend right.

Yeah, thats how I have my Obi-Wan posed.
Ha ha,no bitterness here or a dog for that matter.I Just sense from some of you freaks a lot of loyalty towards SS and that's fine, but just because you really like their product doesn't mean you should defend them every way possible even when you know their stickin it to you.I like their product too but I know when I'm being had.I know that Dark shadow guy is real cheap on shipping maybe they can offer what he offers.
No one has been defending Sideshow. They've all been questioning your logic (since there seems to be so little of it present in your claims). As for knowing when you're being had, methinks you are tilting at windmills. There aren't any monsters here out to get you.
I order direct from Sideshow and Gentle Giant, as well as from dealers such as Dark Shadow, Fireside, Alter Ego, BBTS, and about a half a dozen others, and none of them gouge on shipping (or sales tax, either ). Granted, Adam does have a very sweet shipping deal for his customers, but that's his choice to draw more business. I don't expect (or demand) that other dealers follow suit.
4 hours 18 minutes to sell 4,000 figures (2,000 X 2). Not too bad at all.
Yep, these are some very impressive sculpts. I just hope too much isn't lost in translation during production.

I wonder if the fact that the PPO was on Thursday rather than the usual Friday threw anybody off?
You know, there's always a few guys that say "oh shoot, I totally forgot about the PPO".
Lucky you, if you only pay $7 for shipping. Some collectors pay far more than that. Ask the Europeans, Canadians or Australians if you will... On top of that, they have to pay taxes - which is not SSC's fault of course - but it adds up. From the shipping point of view, the two pack is a good thing. Saves me at least $43....
And how is $7 for shipping exorbitant?

Nobody is saying SSC is the greatest company ever. It just seems like you're trying to pick a fight.Ah screw it,SS is the greatest collectable company of all time, with the best shipping policy, the reward points are just fu%#ing geinuss and I would'nt have any other way..Is that better!!
Kind of both, what?
