I think Josh is referring to the exclusive statue. If you really EU reference materials and the ROTS novelization, you'll know that the material from which the statue was made is like lead under an x-ray...whatever's inside the statue cannot be detected via scanners. Palpatine hid several lightsabers inside various statues. That's how he kept them concealed from the Jedi and Senate but within arm's reach.

Ah, I remember that. But someone said the statues are 10 feet tall... is there a smaller one like the exclusive on his desk? Or did he hide his sabers in the big statues?

The lightsaber was hidden inside a tall statue of Sistros, according to the Complete Locations book. It was located in the mural room where Palpatine revealed his identity to Anakin. It is the statue on the right side of the door leading to the ready room where the Mace/Palpatine duel began.

Haven't been able to post yet today (damn work ) but what an easy PPO. I was in and out in a few minutes... and the figures are seriously sick looking.

The exclusive statue is definitely not a "must-have", so I can see a lot of people saving a few bucks and picking up the regular from their favorite online shop.
