I know my wallet is happy to get this news! I am glad I had those reward points sitting around when the PPO hit, and this is a good time for a free order.

I may end up doing just that with Luke, althoug I wish I could save them up even further to treat myself with a "big" item. I just have a feeling though, I'll be happy to a "break" when Luke ships. I'll have to think it over till Friday morning. I guess it all ends up the same though in the long run right?

Yeah, those are the two big things on the horizon for me as well. I think the Palpatine two-pack is probably the more satisfying in the sense that you get two figures and they are very important ones for the SW universe, but I also have a feeling that they will be easier to get on the secondary market later on than the BD Predator. So I guess I would have to say, keep the predator and get the two-pack a bit later when you have the money, especially since you probably don't need to worry too much about missing the exclusive item.

I've been a HUGE Star Wars fan since first seeing Episode IV in a theater when I was 6. So...on the flip side I love the look, weapons, and armor of the Predators. I guess I will have to choose soon since I got my notices for both of them now.

Mike, if I had to guess, you'll probably have better luck getting the Sidious/Palpatine pack down the road easily and at close to retail cost. I'm personally looking for the first P2 Predator right now and going through some challenges, those figures are hot. I think your best bet is secure that if it really matters to you and roll the dice on this 2-pack down the road, especially if you're not attached to the Exclusive item.

Wow, how many Sideshow points did you have to get the free Palpy/Sidious 2-pack? I've got 250 saved up from the power loader. I may use it either for Bespin Luke or "A New Hope" Luke. I didn't have the points available when the Sidious pack came up for pre-ordering.

You can choose. I used only $10 of mine to buy a Dead Tshirt. It certainly didn't use up all of my points. You just have compute how many you want to apply and voila.
