That sculpt really shines with your paint Nathan! I wish the factory paint was even remotely good because it really is an excellent figure otherwise.

Amazing to see the difference only a year makes... you were badass then, but now I think you might be a god :bow :lol

I just went back and looked at the previous Medicom Young Indy head I repainted. All by itself it still looks pretty nice, but compared to my ability to paint today, it's night and day. Not even a year later and just look at the difference.

"Don't get cocky, kid!"

Lol, just messing with you! :wave

Seriously though, I actually agree 100%. You've definitely advanced quickly with your painting skills. Young Indy looks INCREDIBLE. You've improved leaps and bounds with eye placement and the tones you use look much more photo-realistic and life-like too.

Your recent stuff is just amazing work. I always look forward to seeing what you'll do next!

I think this really hammers home how good you can become with patience and practice. I would love to see you do a head painting tutorial. Of course I also understand if you don't want to give away valuable trade secrets. As everyone has said, excellent excellent work!

Wooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww.

That looks PERFECT. Even better than the proto, in my opinion. Can't wait to add this to my meager Indy collection!

And as for the missing head, damn, I'm sorry! I'm glad you managed to turn a bad situation into something awesome, tho. Heck, you'd probably be able to sell that dirty version on eBay for three times what you paid for it.

I'll drop a line off-board about getting together - and thanks again! It was WELL worth the wait!

Hey, you're welcome, Micro. I think accidentally tossing your head out was meant to be because I'm stoked to have my own repainted Young Indy in my collection now. I probably wouldn't have dropped the cash on Medicom otherwise.

This makes me wanna have a Stand by me figure.
Rest in peace River..

Excellent job Nathan!

Stand by Me. Wow, haven't seen that since I was the age of the kids in it. I wonder where River would be today if he hadn't drugged himself to death like Ledger.

Totaly agree! :monkey2

But with ur paint now he looks soooo real... Man this is incredible :clap

Thanks. The skin almost looks like silicon, doesn't it?

My god as I have already said this is a mind blowing paint job fantastic work

Thanks, Greggo.

Thanks. Yeah, there was always something good about the figure despite the doll-like paint apps. I was happy to see what potential Medicom put into the piece. It's kinda like the HT Billy figure. Likeness was there, but the paint was hiding it.

Only imagine what you'll be doing in another year or more! :duff :rock
I would love to own a piece painted by you someday. :1-1:

What are you waiting for?

Maybe I'll paint so well in another year that figures will actually come to life in the middle of the night and tie their owners to the floor with yarn.

Maybe that's what you are waiting for.
