lol I forsee a series of photoshops with Nolan in the background of behind the scenes pics from all your fave films :rotfl

Spielberg and Harrison Ford on the set of Raiders? Nolan is watching.

Al Pacino and Francis Ford Coppola talking about the next scene? Nolan is lurking.

Did you see Hitchcock's cameo at the start of North By Northwest? Yes? What about Nolan's?

:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

I really wanna see these kinda pics happen now. Lol

gonna check this movie out tomorrow, super excited here!

Look the man is god, it is a known fact that he has had a hand in any film of worth since 200 AD.

It's nice to know we have some f__king attentive mods around here.

If you're not talking about Skyfall, would you kindly f__k off please. I'm sick of coming here to read people's thoughts on the film, and getting all this Nolan/Batman s__t.

I agree.

Just saw the flick. Is the best Craig Bond IMO. Mendes' film is really pretty, action is great, interesting story, Bardem a great, if weird, villain. I did want to know more about him though.

So are they gonna make more or what? Having nodded to all the Bond cliches of old are they now gonna go back to silly Bonds instead of serious Bonds? Or did MGM go bankrupt making this one......again?

every film is nolan.

nolan has had a hand in every film that was ever considered any good, ever.

Hmm so everything you think is a ode to TDK and Nolan must have been rewritten by Mendes since scenes are made by writers not directors, how a screen might look visually is a director. So explain to me how all of the comparisons are Mendes ode to Nolan.

simmer down.

here's the article.

If you don't think a director has anything to do with the writing process then, well, you're wrong.

Can't we all just get along? God, is every thread filled with this ****? Ya'know, I'm a Nolan fan, and I noticed some influences, but maybe we should just learn to shut up about it. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of being included in the pools of "polesquatters" and "nuthuggers" by the various *******s. To the various *******s, stop generalizing; we arent all trying to force feed you the word of Nolan, and, like DiFabio said; you can find influences in anything from anything. Mendes already said that he was inspired by TDK, so why point out the obvious? Both sides need to stop acting like children.

How is that ironic? Any praise I give to Nolan's Bats is kept in the respective threads. Regarding Mendes saying that Nolan influenced it, it is obvious; it's obvious because he said it was. I'm not drawing any parallels there; those are Mendes' words, not mine.

Still haven't seen the film but the song has really grown on me, I think its the best since, well since Casino Royale's song. I'd rank it pretty high up there overall.

Sorry, my bad, I should have "quoted" who I was responding to so that I didn't cause confusion.

Did I quote you? It was actually in reference to what Cokebabies had strung together. I could give a **** about you're inane ramblings. Go jump to conclusions on someone elses nuts, dip****. Anyone with a brain could see the irony in what he posted even if you only read the last few quotes.

Well, you didn't quote Cokebabies, either, so how was I to know? Jesus, man, you don't have to get so defensive. It's not like I insulted your mother or something, I simply defended my post. My apologies if I offended you. :peace

I did get defensive. You are right, I guess I just didn't realize why you thought that was directed at your post and I did overeact when all you did was basically ask me why I posted that. :dunno

Maybe I read more into it than you actual put, but re-reading I was being an *******, when you were just asking a question, sorry! :1-1:

Yes he took inspiration and said he wanted to be darker. Not once did he say he took all the idiotic things everyone seems to think is from the TDK. He also said he took inspiration from Peter Jackson yet I dont see people comparing those movies.

Yes directors have some to do with the script but he would have had practically written it for all of the things people seem to think are from TDK.

This stupid Batman conversation is still going on!? Come on people this thread is going down the deep end.
