Weird

one is $48, other is $15.

Both sold by Amazon. :dunno

I want the $48 one. :lol

That's the 2009 release which is out of print. They recently released a new 2-disc set (Bluray + DVD copy). Same movie, same extras, etc.

It's too bad we'll never get the rumored Definitive Edition.

I know. Nolan is a long time Bond fan. Inception's opening scene is like Nolan's little mini Bond movie.

That being said, if the fans want to say stuff like that...well. They should pay attention more.

Yup, too many Nolancompoops can't see through the squirt in their eyes to realize if Nolan influenced Bond, it's essentially Bond influencing Bond since the aspects that influenced Skyfall were already those from Bond. :lol

You mean the same elements that Nolan took from Bond?

Like Batman/Bond going off to HK/Tokyo to extract a criminal?
Like the similarities in the score?
Like Joker/Silva getting caught on purpose as part of their plan, like them both dressing up as cops?

Ok buddy :lol

Sure Nolan took from plenty of inspiration from Bond, like bumping up Fox from a relatively unknown character in the Batman comics to a full blown Q equivalent - with a similar approach to new technology/gadgets, the opening sequence of TDKR, certain aspects of Wayne's playboy persona. To name a few things.

But to deny there are clearly things in Skyfall that are inspired by Nolan's batfilms is pretty ignorant.

Full. Circle.

Bond went to Shanghi to kill someone.

That score style is everywhere.

That **** has been done so much in both Bond movies, and various spy films.

His comparisons are as generalized as saying Nolan ripped off Pretty Woman for the end of TDKR, since the millionaire in that movie also runs off with the whore at the end. :lol
