The only thing I really liked about Quantum of Solace was the girl that got covered in oil and that's all I got to say about that.

Just finished QOS.

I was an ass giving that movie a bad rating when it was released.

While it's definately the weaker of his 3, it was still very enjoyable.

I predict a return to Quantum in the next movie.

I bet the plot will involve Quantum being behind Lucas selling to Disney.

I agree with you. I like it fine. It's not my favorite, but it's not the "WORST BOND MOVIE EVER MADE" idiots say it is.

It was Casino Royale after effects. I think alot of people s initial reactions were based on it not being as good as CR, but after that faded it seemed to become more accepted, at least from what I've observed of peoples opinions. :dunno

QoS was great for the first 1/2 hour...then it just became a quick bond adventure...I would put it still in the bottom 10...If it was a true sequel going after the guy who escaped and finding out who this group was then POW!...it would have rocked...plus it was a short bond film when you look at the running times of CR and SF

It was the most sequel Bond has ever gotten. It was set directly after Casino, and everything led up to dealing with the events Casino laid out.

They shouldn't do that again. Keep every movie stand alone.

Disagree. SPECTRE proved you can have a main plot that's relevant to a single movie with elements that carry over into sequels and still work.

I don't mind a side storyline that continues, but I don't want the next movie to pick up exactly where Skyfall left off.

Something like For Your Eyes Only, where it brings up an event, and "finishes" it, or the early Connery flicks leading up to You Only Live Twice is fine.

But I'm still in the camp that every main Bond story should remain separate.

The next movie could be a continuation, but have an unrelated plot.

Bond could be working on that new assignment he received at the end of Skyfall and there could be some bits of dialogue between Bond and Mallory related to him being the new 'M' if they want to expand on that relationship.
