The English, European an World champs just kicked the arses of Italians finest...Note to Scousers...This was a REAL result againt TOP FLIGHT opposition, unlike that training session at Anfield yesterday. See you at O.T!!! LOL:maul:D

arsenal got through aswell :banana:banana:banana just shows that the premiership is definately the best league in the world :lecture

4 clubs from England are onto the round of 8.
I just hope they aren't drawn together in the next round, that would suck.
I have no doubt however if United draw Liverpool,Chelski or the Gooners that United would be victorious!:D

:chew

So our excellent performance goes down as a training run.:lol

We took care of Inter last year and i do believe whilst you guys are favourites our training run was the more impressive having watched both games.:) ;)

Yeah hopefully avoid each other although must admit would probably prefer having Man U over two legs.

The top 8 looks pretty good with Barca the main danger to the english clubs but that does depend on which Barca turns up.

Chelsea sure hopes to avoid Liverpool in the QF. Sure hope either of the english teams battle one another. But Bayern & Barca are on fire too...hmmm Looking forward to weekends battle of the REDS!

We dont want Chelsea again :( how many years in a row would that be.

Dedicating my 100th post to sam and the boys well done, we may just stay in the toughest league in europe yet.:D
Well done to Utd and Arsenal. :D
Good luck to City our last Uefa team.:D

Not half, Fletcher should have started, Anderson ain't big enough for games like that, dope Fergie:banghead Vidic won't sleep tonight, I forgive him as long as we win the league.

Definitely...they have the 'double' bragging rights over us, but they can keep it as long as we have a good trophy count at the end...
Anderson shouldn't have been on second half. Giggs or Scholes could have managed 45mins. Rooney was wasted on the left too. In summary, it was a repeat of weds error filled game, except Liverpool capitalised...:sick

Well...we ^^^^ed that up :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

Reds :D:D:D:D V Devils :(

Just another training run mate.:naughty ;)

Whilst both teams played pretty average i thought United controlled more of the play but their last pass often let them down and thats football for you with us taking advantage of some poor defence.

Extremely happy to do the double over Man but unfortunately our poor results against lowly opposition makes this victory somewhat hollow as Man U should still take it for sure.

Well done Red  We got our just reward there... out fought and humiliated in front of our own fans :monkey2
Makes me thankful Torres and Gerro haven't played more games together. Could've been a different league...

Thanks mate.:duff

Hoping Man start to doubt themselves but not likely as they have proven over the years that they are extremely resilient and its still well and truly in their hands.

Reds need to spend more cash and buy 2 possibly 3 world class players to ease the expectation on Gerrard and Torres.Whilst we have had our best season so far for ages when clubs like Man U have a squad that cost over 100 million pounds more than ours it does make it extremely difficult.

Having said that you have to buy the right players as Man C and Tott have squads worth more than ours and look where they are.:D

Well for the 5th consecutive UCL we have drawn Chelsea.

Quarter-final draw (ties to be played on April 7 and 8 and April 14 and 15):

Villarreal v Arsenal
Manchester United v FC Porto
Liverpool v Chelsea
Barcelona v Bayern Munich

Semi-final draw (ties to be played on April 28-29 and May 6 and 7):

Manchester United or FC Porto v Villarreal or Arsenal
Barcelona or Bayern Munich v Liverpool or Chelsea.

Man U have got a most favorable draw and still the chance we could meet them in the final.

Oh happy days!... Utd coulda done worse than Porto...
Now i'm not sure if their is a Uefa law enabling Chelsea and Liverpool to both knock each other out in their game...:lol
