I’m sad in a way because this just might be the first SW movie i’m not considering a must watch.

I guess it all depends on if you’re the type of person that enjoyed the River Phoenix Indy or not.

Nah, River Phoenix Indy def looked like a teenage Ford.

I am looking forward to seeing this one. More curious than anything.

Ditto. Curious to see if I'll have wasted my money or not.

Han & Chewie are my favorite OT SW characters, so I'm just hoping for a good story, good acting and good action.

And are you doing another Harmy marathon on the big screen before TLJ?

I am still trying to work that out. It basically depends on my schedule and with school and work it is difficult to arrange a night. I MIGHT do it, and if I do I will let you know. Would love to do a marathon starting with Rogue One and go through the rest Harmy style!

Being reported that 80% of the movie was reshot with an almost double the original budget!

So the film now has a $350 - $400 million budget...plus marketing? Yikes.

I have this vision of Kathleen Kennedy stomping on a Lego movie bluray.

Since nothing is more important than money do you think there’s an actual chance Kennedy or Kasdan gets the axe from Disney for causing double the budget.

Or has the success of TFA and RO saved their butts.

If the movie bombs? Hell yes. But they'll make their money back even with a $400 million budget. They might not make a lot of money, but they'll still turn a profit (unfortunately.)

They'll be fine. She probably did the right thing even if they wasted $150 mill. In the big picture, $150 mill is not that much, considering how much money they are making and will make with the Solo film.

Unless someone accuses Kennedy of sexual misconduct, or she has several box office bombs, she's not going anywhere.

Hmmm if it bombs Khev might be right that she falls on the sword even though the reality is that the profits from merchandising alone probably easily should cover any losses eminating from Solo.

Now add in the profits from TFA/RO like you said and more than likely a very successful TLJ and Kennedy be like “pfft what Solo financial problems” lol

Now watch a 47 year old woman come out and claim that Kennedy tried raping her 30 years go in 1984 lol

I see the spin off SW films losing money soon if they cost this much and they keep reshooting them like this-this SW mania was so intense for TFA nothing but a downhill slope starting with TLJ- yes it will make it's 500 million domestic but that's a big drop from TFA- and Solo will make less than RO, etc..eventually a SW movie a year becomes old hat- in Hollywood these things happen
