Wow people complaining of Poe being emasculated then be perfectly fine with those 2 highly skilled armored emperor guards getting knocked out by a WEAKER HIT than from an Ewok.
Maybe Yoda put them too sleep.
I forgot how bad that scene was thanks for the reminder again why the PT are garbage compared to TLJ.
Yoda wasn't ruined in the PT. Some of the fighting was weird but at the same time, how are you gonna make Yoda fight regular humans with his size?
He had great scenes. The Sidious fight is epic. I'll take that any day over TLJ giggly Yoda who can affect the ****ing weather.

I don't give a **** about Poe. But yeah he was a far better character before TLJ, that's for sure.
It's not a weak hit. The most powerful Jedi in the galaxy Force smashed them against the walls. It's Yoda. Remember Yoda? Not ROTJ Yoda. Yoda the Grand Master of the Jedi Order who made Dooku look like a padawan and stopped Palpatine's lightning with his bare hands?
The sound design makes the violence of the shock pretty clear by itself btw, but how long has it been since you've seen this movie?

So you're fine with all the Force BS in TLJ but can't visualize the Force actually pressing them against the walls so fast and with such intensity that they get knocked out? And not by a noob (Rey?), but by a character who actually gives some sense and weight to that power.
You can even hear the Force coming at them with the sound design prior to the hit itself:

I don't have a subwoofer. I do have a $5,000 pair of Focal Trio6's plugged into an Apogee interface though, because I'm a mix engineer

So yeah, I do pay attention to stuff like that, because sound tells a story. Especially in Star Wars.
But I guess space Leia and weatherman Yoda make more sense. Because of course everything in the PT is awful.

I love when people pick apart films for stupid crap....
The TLJ thread is full of it....this will be also.....after its release.
But never forget, OT, even the best OT movie has some dumb stuff also...
Like this;
So Han, Leia and Chewbacca can now survive in space , with just a plan oxygen mask? And a tiny blast from a space gun is enough to upset a creature thousands of times larger than the entire Falcon?
And how the hell does any organic creature survive in a zero oxygen, no gravity (again why are they not floating?) -473 degree environment?
Oh right , it’s a movie.
This is at least as stupid as Space Leia from a realism perspective....
But it gets a pass, like a ton of other dumb crap in ESB.
We love it cause we were kids......I still love it but I am not willing to give it a blind eye just because it’s Muh Sta Was

Probably wasting my breath, but if you can't see the difference between what has been lain down and what follows, your mind is just not capable. Do you see those people freezing and crystalline? No. Its not an engineering movie, its a space fantasy. You can like Ricky Bobby and you can like Days of Thunder, but trying to equate the two as similar movies by saying both made "racing" errors still just makes your argument ridiculous.
