No, save Pratt for the next Indy re-boot...he would be amazing as Indy.

I agree with this... BUT that seems to be the problem.. He does not come across as Han in these trailers mannerism wise wither.. Granted its just tiny little bits we got to see but he lacks that certain something to be Han in what we did see..

But I am more then willing to give this film a chance.

Chris Pine does not look like Shatner but he nailed the character and felt like Kirk... Hope this guy can do the same.

Yes, and he doesn't do Shatner's mannerism either, such as the way he has short gaps in his speech. They did very well casting the new ST films.

I didn't like their choice of Solo but he might just surprise you. Couldn't be worse than the young Vader! :monkey4

Being honest, the shorter teaser got me more excited than the full trailer.

Of course, how can I not get the nod Howard was thinking :lol

Anybody disagree :lol

I get where you’re coming from and that may well have been the intention, but the way it’s shot looks more like Falcon and the Furious: Corellian Drift to me, not to mention the overall plot as well.

Also, when the bluray is released they need to add in a Ron Howard arrested development type commentary track:

Han: I thought we were in trouble there for a second, but we’re fine.

Ron Howard: [narrating] They weren’t.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

This movie looks like it'd have more promise if it were about a character named Dan Molo, a smuggler that Chewie worked with before meeting Han. Just not feeling like these characters seem more interesting because we're supposed to know them, if anything it seems more controversial and set-up for failure and fan backlash if it's bad, and a wasted opportunity if it's good (meaning you could have set up new characters that could have sequels). The prequel trap is not a good trap to be in, it really reduces a lot of dramatic tension. Hmm, I wonder if Han is gonna die when he's frozen in Carbonite. Hmm I wonder if Chewie is going to kill Lando when he's choking him. Nope, Empire Strikes Back is a prequel to ROTJ, we already know that everything works out just great!

I'm just going to view it as fan fiction and see it once and call it a day if it's good or bad or mediocre.

I actually think this looks really cool.
