thats what i mean

the original trilogy made it look like they were driving a 70s Volvo today, that was still running but in bad shape. that was what I loved about it anyways. The empire has all these big great ships and Han has his busted 70s Volvo, the whole underdog thing

this movie makes it look like Han got a 2001 toyota tacoma that he beat up with a hammer and drove through the mud... where's the charm in that?

Crows, keep in mind the entire front of the falcon is different in this movie, maybe it gets a hard crash in this one, hence why all the changes and why it's so dirty. We can't really explain this until we know if the movie is going to answer it.

Yeah, but the geeks/nerds (us old timers & haters) question everything and break things down and critique them. The cool kids (millenials & lovers) throw pep rallies and cheer for everything with blind love.

I wonder when the older gen is gonna grow a pair of balls and admit how bad they've ****ed up, instead of blaming their problems on an entire different generation. But, with how stubborn they've proven to be, I'm sure most will take those regrets to their grave.

I never bought anything ewok, other than the original vintage SW figures from ROTJ in 1983...
I'm a Gen X, I know when I was born. I've never won a trophy for participating, or was told everyone is special..

There can be no Star Wars fans in the present day. The way it is now is that you're a fan of individual movies in the franchise. How can anyone be a Star Wars fan when they only like 3 movies out of a potential 11 movies?

good point... but I love 4 and like 4, pending Solo. I only have hate for TLJ. And only 9 movies to judge so far, Solo pending (10) and EPIX (11)

I don't particularly like the "fast car" bit, but overall I liked what I saw. You didn't care for RO which I really loved, so if its close to that I will be happy and get the sour taste of TLJ out my mouth.

Sex, while just becoming popular, was boring. Ded fish, starfish, whatever you wanna call it, was boring. You were frowned upon if you weren't married.

Look at today, sex is thriving and less shunned upon. We got people openly eating booties just cuz. If people did that in the 60's an exorcism wouldn't be off the table.

the reason i am being so blunt is because I am one of the few guys that LIKED the trailer

I just think the ship looks really weird. it feels unsettling. But you are getting so mad at the ship comments when i am one of the few guys NOT hating on the new actor lol. I have said nothing about him. I don't think he looks or sounds as bad as the other guys.

I know I was harsh on the Last Jedi but you have to take the sights off of me, i am not the enemy here

It is true. So many movie franchises where I don't like all the movies, but many of those I don't like are still watchable.
