Weird that the Phantom v2 basically just goes all the way back (or forward) to Jabba ROTJ. They never should have changed his design (or tried to "youthify" it).

If people like changing Jabbas, then what the hell's wrong with changing Hans?

Yuck! Can't stand Jabba. Definitely skipping this movie if he's in it. I even put ROTS over ROTJ because it had no Jabba... or Ewoks.

It turns out, the Hutt's are actually asexual. Both Male and female and just like amoebas, reproduce by cell division...

Thankfully, so Disney can't touch that. But then again Disney is happy because there's already a transgender type in Star Wars.

I've never considered putting Jabba in with Ewoks. That's just wrong. But I can see it with all his other incarnations.



I'm very much looking forward to the HT Jabba next SDCC (2019).

I think it's mainly the bad CGI in Phantom Menace that made me not like him. For me he's tolerable in ROTJ but the rest of the movies with him - just not for me.

I don't think a single work of CGI in modern cinema has surpassed PM Jabba in terms of awfulness... yet.

I have the whole SS Jabba set, bought way back when they came out.. The Inclusive Jabba with glass, the throne, Salacious Crumb Ex set, and Bubo Ex set. I have never even opened or displayed them as the base was way too big for me to display anywhere...

If HT does do a Jabba, hopefully he's not much better, or at least he's all I have to replace/upgrade. Can't even imagine what the throne would sell for now a days. If I remember right Jabba was only $100 & the throne was $200. $300 for the set. That was expensive back then. Today, Jabba would be like $350 alone, & the throne $500. Glad I have them.

... I know right.... I always figured one day I'd have the space/room to display him. Still hoping.. Maybe once my kids leave... I have another decade to hope and dream.
