Nope, they just lost their exclusivity rights with SE and Capcom. They will still be coming to PS3. And I will more than likely be getting them on PS3 just because of what you can do with Blu-Ray. I don't want a 5 disc FFXIII game for the 360.

Nah Josh, you can pretty much pick any of them up and start having a good time. They do a pretty good job of explaining whats going on.

Nah. There will be some very minor plot/character stuff that will go over your head (unless it's explained with exposition, which it sometimes is) but it won't affect the enjoyment of the game at all.

I'm actually not a fan of the original RE games at all. I can't stand the camera and other elements. But RE4 may be my favorite console game of all time.

I think you should play RE4 at least. It's a killer way to prepare for RE5.

But since I have been playing them since they came out, I would say yes just to play them, but they aren't needed. You can go onto Wikipedia or something and ready about all the stories.

They are some of the best games made IMOand all need to be played!

No, RE4 was originally a GameCube game, but there have been ports for PS2 and the Wii.

RE5 will be the first Resident Evil of any kind on 360.
