That's it!
It just doesn't convey much aggression. For whatever reason it's better with just the modern red shirt. Perhaps it's the lighting.
Funny that Soosoo added this sculpt. I've been looking for an angrier head sculpt since this figure was announced. Don't know if I want to pick this up, though.
I'm still looking to throw him back into the old west, so it comes down to clothing style.
We've been conditioned by decades of western movies, but while the first full button down shirt was registered by the London clothing manufacturer Brown, Davies & Co in 1871, they weren't popular until after the First World War.
From the start Old Man Logan's shirt with its white stitching reminded me of a fancy Missouri guerrilla shirt, though they would've more likely been open necked or half buttoned.
The belt loops on his trousers are a bigger issue:
Belt loops were introduced by Levi’s when they released their 501 Jean in 1922. Up until the 1920s, belts were considered decorative items and were mostly reserved for military uniforms. However, after World War I, high-end clothing began to feature belts. As the trend caught on among a younger generation of men who had just returned from the war and were starting to enter the workforce, belt loops became necessary.

However, since I'm going to give his gun belt, holsters etc to another figure, his trouser belt can be worn over the loops instead to carry another holster.
I've seen a few people asking whether the trousers can go outside the boots, and I think that will be the way I go with him as well.
The last problem is that he's literally 'Old Man' Logan, so his age doesn't fit his life in the old west, which wasn't a problem when I pre-ordered because I was thinking of him mainly as a no-name grizzled gunfighter.
I've become fixated on using bone claws and having him as a contemporary for my comic book inspired Jonah Hex, so the SooSoo sculpt may have to be ditched, and incorporated into another figure.
