In my opinion SPECTRE is overlong, slow and distinctly average.

All too convenient tying in, some dreadful acting at times and muffled dialogue in places really harm this.

Camera movement is stunning and what humour there is in the film is very well placed.

I'd personally rank this as my least favourite Craig movie - I can't see it stacking up to as many rewatches as the other movies.

Wishaw is superb. Bautista is not. Waltz...meh!

Critics are saying go see the Peanuts movie this weekend instead. :lol

Between that horrible song and Craig acting like Josh Trank, they may be right.

WTF happened! :lol

Lower expectations means I can relax and enjoy. :) Every time a movie gets built up to be "OMFG BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!", I'm usually let down by it. The exception of course, being Movie 43. :rolleyes2
Skyfall was claimed as "best Bond ever"- I don't get that. Good but not even in top 10 Bonds for me. Spectre I will give a chance- might like it better than SF

Damn, I had high hopes from this since I thought the Craig Bond films were getting better and better with each new release.

I think I will still try and see this weekend.

Saw it last night. Its an ok Bond film but not great. Probably my least favourite of the Daniel Craig bond films.

Well, expectations have been lowered accordingly. I'll throw in my $.02 later tonight or in the AM. Can't be worse than Die Another Day. :yuck

Besides length what is the problem with it guys? Story? Pace? Villians?

It's good, buts it's not Skyfall. Where this fails for me is the underuse of Waltz. Other than his introduction, he had zero fear factor for me as well. His dialogue was poor, and looked liked he was disinterested and phoning it in to me.

So if I follow correctly, this movie features a villain from previous movies?

I feel like my lack of viewing older films might make this more enjoyable for me, nothing to setup expectations of any kind.

I don't either.

Casino Royal is still the best Craig Bond flick.

Skyfall was decent.

Quantum was Jason Borne, not Bond.

Still seeing this and Peanuts this weekend.

Most of the cast looked like they were phoning it in :lol
