On Sideshow's Coming soon. Might be a comic book version as there's no movie logo associated with it

I rsvp if it's comic Batman I'm going to lose it. But most likely Batman Returns or Batman And Robin. Unless it is indeed a Comic version we'll find out soon.

What's happening there on their website?

I was wondering the same thing. Since it says “DC Comics” I’m hoping for a nonmovie Batman.
Yea, I'm hoping for a comic styled one as well given I've sold 90% of my Sideshow comic figures. Just need to get rid of the last 10% in the event HT makes at least some of the same figures that Sideshow made. Pretty sure Joker is a lock if it is comic related.

How do we know it's not just the Clooney figure already shown?

I just hope they don't pull a comic Spider-Man or Iron man and make it an exclusive that's limited. Full regular release and I hope it's a Neal Adams, Jim Lee or their own comic inspired design.

Hope it's an accurate take on a classic design. Kind of wary on them putting their own little spin on it since this isn't under Hono.
I wouldn't put it passed them for wanting a comic Batman to be under the HT brand, so they can maximize how much they're going to charge for it given Hono is the "budget" line.

Really looking forward to seeing what Hot Toys will do with a comic version and RSVP’d.

Probably will have a ton of accessories to be under the Hot Toys banner and not the entry grade level (price) of Hono. That is what I hoped for when they advertised Batman’s 85th anniversary.

I think the title is just a placeholder, might just be Batman Returns 2.0
That's my fear that's it's just stuff we've already seen. Hoping for the best but keeping my expectations low.

Yes, this looks like a placeholder graphic that was put up by Sideshow and not an official Hot Toys announcement. I'm assuming it's one of the movie Bats (Batman Returns or Batman and Robin) that is on display at SDCC.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a placeholder for the Batman & Robin figures. They put up another one for Robin

Seems also that the 1/12 1989 Batwing isn’t on display this time.
