Speculation: Hot Toys "Solo" Movie Figures

Really want a range trooper and Enfys. I doubt they have a shot at being made. And if they don't have a shot, there is no CHANCE in hell that the Mimban Strawman is getting made. That was a great alien design.

I think Enfys has about as good a chance at getting a PO as Crossbones or Yellowjacket.

Mimban is a toss up. Depends greatly on Mudtrooper preorders probably. But even if Muddy does sell well, they may just offer another variant of the Muddy.

Yeah that straw man was a great design. I think he didn't even make it into the final movie. Or perhaps I missed him ??

I believe you can make out his silhouette a few times getting blasted during the Mimban campaign part. Right when Solo first notices Becket on the battlefield. Not getting made, just thought it was a cool character.

Hoping to see a range trooper (even though the screen time was pretty minimal) - Hasbro has taken a crack at it in two sizes. The other is Enfys Nest. She'd make a visually interesting figure on display.


I think we may see all we're going to get from Solo at SDCC this year- maybe one more figure and that's it. Wonder if it going to be Lando...

With a laundry list of OT characters I want it's hard to get excited for Solo stuff. That Mudtrooper looks pretty rad though, and I would probably be tempted by Beckett if he was offered.

With the new estimates coming at even below $400mil worldwide by the time it’s done (insane!), I’m really curious to see what they do as well. I could see more troopers as they seem to be HT’s ‘safe bet’ every SW movie, as there’s always a desire for more variants.

Where I’m really curious is if any more of the named characters make it to production (outside of a potential reused Chewie). You’d think Lando would be the one if they do make more.. but at this point hard to say.

I saw "Solo" last night. Went in with neutral expectations due to the abysmal TLJ. Definitely enjoyed the film. Tons of Easter Eggs throughout, which was pretty cool. The Raiders of the Lost Ark "golden idol" was too cool.

My only negative was Lando's droid. I was expecting a "Talk to the hand" moment... Actually cheered when it got destroyed.

We definitely need a "Two-Tubes" figure. I'll probably pick up a mud trooper to add to the trooper variant collection. Unsure if I want a Han, though, as I'll then need another Chewie.

Hoping for the Mimban Stormtrooper or the regular Mud Trooper but the Stormtrooper has a much higher chance I think. I just hope they don't pull the Shore Trooper experience on us again for the Mud Trooper...

Ha ha. But the reality is, I saw ESB when I was 7 years old and Lando was clearly (to me) the bad guy in that movie. Look what he did to our favourite heroes! The years between that and ROTJ (an eternity at that age) did not do him favours (and that Bespin outfit is pretty dull compared to the rest of the Star Wars universe). So while ultimately he ended up a hero in the end, it was just too much for him to surmount to earn my affection. Enter Donald Glover's Lando who has all the best qualities of Billy Dee's version and as an adult brings the charm, swagger and roguishness I enjoy seeing in a character nowadays. So where before Lando was just, "and Lando was there" to me, I now want to see Lando adventures.

Agree 100%. After all the hype on Lando's droid, especially the "so much better than K2SO hype", L3-37 was a massive disappointment to me. If you are going to say a new droid is the best so far, that droid really needs to bring it. L3 didn't.

The characters from this film that'd I'd buy if they were made: Han's white vest Corellia look, Mimban trooper, regular Mudtrooper, Enfys Nest, Lando, and Two Tubes.

I realistically only see Mimban trooper, and maybe Lando being made.

The droid severely damages Lando as a character in Solo. K2 was awesome, my favorite hero in RO. The Lando droid was Jar Jar all over again...way too much screen time, irrelevant, and told jokes that fall flat.
