All I can say is that I hope you enjoy spending time here despite differing opinions. Based on what I have seen you are one of the nicer people that frequents the board.

Oh **** that evil-wuss-turns-good-wuss Ben Solo - give me a 1/6 legless Palps on a segment of a 1/6 crane arm. I'd even take a Snoke in a big test tube as accessory.

Can't believe HT didn't touch TROS Palps.

All I can say is that I hope you enjoy spending time here despite differing opinions. Based on what I have seen you are one of the nicer people that frequents the board.

Eh, what's with all these Death Star explosion analogies - the ST may have destructed into fine particulate, but it'll survive somehow for a band of young progressives in the future to discover and follow the wayfinder to KK and Kiri.

I do enjoy the boards. I have trouble understanding why people get so worked up about differing opinions. I like what I like and respect those who don't share the same perspective. It's not life or death, I mean, we are on a "toy board" after all...

Alas the kiddies will be disappointed to learn that all the ancient progressive tomes were burned up by their overzealous retconned Jedi Master who in death now has a bad case of pyromania.

At this point I'd be good with them finally releasing X-Wing Poe (to pair with BB8) and Ben Solo with blue lightsaber. That's all we really need IMO.

Yeah I mean; Palps from ROTS would be good. They already have most of the mold anyway haha. Old Lando or Zorii//Babu Frik 2 pack? I can't see them making anything beyond those.

Well not really sarcasm. I don't know many people raving about the ST at this point who would be prepared to get multiple figures.

I mean they had a good prototype ready to go a couple of years ago. So no time needed due to secrecy etc there.

I guess we'll see. But if one does come out, have a look in the comments on FB. That's a relatively good indication of acceptance.

I don't get why people think ST is such a failure. It made a billion. Granted it made less than TLJ. But it's not like it took a loss. They release figures from series that gross far less. I'd be shocked if we don't see another Poe, and at least one bad guy (Palps or Ben).

It's the conclusion of a SW trilogy, with no competition during a Christmas season release, the numbers should have been crazy. It took 28 days for TROS to hit $1 billion, TFA did it in 12. TFA doubled TROS at the box office. Endgame made 2.8 billion and nearly tripled TROS. It was beaten by Lion King, Frozen 2, and Joker in the same year.

There are many other issues too. It came out on blu ray in near record time, nobody is making any toys, etc.

Anyone who denies it was a miserable failure is delusional.

If they'd had a plan, they should have been giving Endgame a run for it's money. Marvel had a throughline and a plan. Not hard.

Critical failure vs box office failure are two different things. It was coming off a weak sequel. Cost 275 mill to make which the general rule of thumb is double that for marketing and it made 500 mill on top of that. Every single studio would have taken a "failure" that made a billion dollars. Comparing it to Endgame is ridiculous. That was the summation of 21 preceeding movies. Star Wars has 9 mainline and 2 spinoff films. Regardless this is off topic; we can discuss this elsewhere. Your opinion is clear, so is mine. I disagree with your assertion.

I'm no great fan of the sequel trilogy, but I'm someone who likes to have every film represented in my collection. However, of the 5(?) figures announced so far there's nothing all that appealing. A TLJ Kylo with a little red on his helmet, a Gareth Bale looking Rey, and 3 vulgur looking troopers. It seems Hot Toys have completely bypassed the interesting figures: Dark Side Rey, Ben Solo, Palpatine, the Knights of Ren, and X-Wing Poe. Even a training sequence Luke and Leia would suffice. So, for the first time I'll likely have no representation of a SW movie in my collection. I'd be interested to know, from those ST fans, how they feel about the 5 figures Hot Toys have offered up for this movie?

I?d probably pick up Old Lando if they make one. I might get Rey if she looks better in the production version. Definitely not interested in the rest.

I’d also pick up old Han if they used the HF cameo as an excuse to reissue him.
