Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

They'll do both. They probably had a prototype done from CW and figured '**** it, we'll just port it over to Homecoming and ignore all requests from fans.'

As long as I get my Romita-style Spidey it's all good.

I'm not sure if this pic is real or fake...

Well that looks like one of the worst photoshop jobs I have seen in a long time.

:rotfl

It looks like the webs were drawn in :lol

It's confirmed that Spiderman will have web-wings. You can google for confirmation. I'm on mobile so don't have time to look.

Maybe HT will show prototype after new trailer debuts.

Hope there is a Web glide version.

Saw it as I woke up. Definitely excited about the web pits :lol

It will be interesting to see how (if) the webs gets translated into the figure.

Here is a screenshot from the trailer, I'll put spoiler tags around it in case some people don't want to see it.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I'm guessing the web wings will be something that only deploys when he needs them and we won't see weird, flaccid web wings dangling between his arms in every scene that he's in the suit.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Those web wings just set the release of this figure back several months. I wonder if Hot Toys deal with making them.

People calling them "wings" is just odd to me :lol in the comics they have no function what so ever and were completely aesthetic, never functioned as wings

On the Iron Spider suit Stark gave to Parker, he had underarm webbing that allowed for gliding.

I think the ones in the movie will be like these and deployed just for gliding rather than him just having web pits as a default look like in the old comics.

They look like they're meant to function as a wingsuit. They wouldn't add them to the costume in the MCU and call attention to them as an upgrade.if they weren't going to serve a purpose, ie just be esthetic.
