I hope that's not the real reason it goes wrong. Seems like too much of a **** up for Strange to allow that to happen. I hope it more has something to do with what went down in the Loki show.

My guess, it's not even the real Dr Strange. The real Strange is trapped or something. He seems off in the trailer, the way he carelessly helps a teenager and the way he responds to Wong, it just seems out of character, just like his outfit and ice castle. What if Loki is playing Strange? They have history. This movie is just a set up for DS 2, so I'm sure Strange is not just incompetent.

I'm hoping the Maguire & Garfield Spidermen will act as a contrast in being less advanced technologically - I mean Tobey had nothing in his films. His suit looked cool - it didn't do anything though.
That's because Bully Maguire didn't need nothin.😎👉👉

Which brings up another difference I hope they acknowledge and play up - Tobey's organic webshooters.
Bully Maguire laughs at their silly gadgets.

The wink is very Loki, isn't it?

I am betting money here that we get maybe 10 minutes of the new/old villains….and a cliffhanger.

Garfield, well, haven't seen his films much but I think he just had his self-made webshooters. Which brings up another difference I hope they acknowledge and play up - Tobey's organic webshooters.

Agreed. Yeah the first Spider-Man films were my introduction to the character, so I felt a tad surprised to know SM didn't have his organic webs in the comics. (Actually I think I prefer the organic web powers to the homemade shooters.)

Yes, it makes more sense.
I dunno, I think the purpose of Peter inventing the web shooters is to demonstrate how smart he is. In the Marvel Comics universe he's highly intelligent, but not top tier like Reed Richards, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
I slightly prefer the mechanical shooters, but I don't dislike the organic shooters.

To bad his Peter was way to full of himself and an *******
Like he should be, Spider-Man should ooze confidence and hope. Tobey was like watching Mr Bean be Spider-Man.
Andrew is the best Spider-Man and Peter. Glad to see my boy back on screen.

At the bottom is a leaked picture of Andrew in NWH. Also rumour has it,

continue at your own risk

that Tom is going to give him the Iron Spider suit to use in the movie, or he’s going to make him one more technologically advanced

Tobey got a little weird at times, but my take on Garfield was excellent Spidey, but waaay too cool and cocky for Peter Parker. Watching him slouch around on that skateboard it was like he was channeling River Phoenix or something.

The Su - , [...]
I remember that now. I don't think we should utter their names. It's sickening and sad.

I get that it's a deep pathology but I still wonder at how things can go so wrong. As an awkward young teen I remember reaching, trying to better myself, taking risks. And after the inevitable embarrassing and crushing failures, eventually I grew and became a better version of myself. It took a very long time. And at that age you don't understand time.
