I am so confused over Venom’s future.

Not that I care I have grown to despise that Venom 1 movie didn’t even bother with the Carnage one.

Venom 1 has a scene where an alien eats another human and the asian lady who witnessed it at her store just shrugs it off.

Anyways back to Venom’s future will the symbiote glob that stayed behind be used to cres

I was also taken back by their kitchen intros but it worked by the end because bringing them in last minute during 3rd act battle would’ve been too late me thinks.

Ma Ned was annoying though lol

I think they could have shown up earlier during one of the action sequences.

I'm booster-less until at least January and numbers are skyrocketing here, so even though I saw Dune in IMAX and I'm a huge Spidey fan, I opted out -- I won't see this film until it hits Apple or wherever. I have elderly parents to worry about and don't feel like getting tagged by The Plague, vaxxed or not. Balls.

Thankfully my wishlist is small for potential Hot Toys I'd buy from this movie:

Tobey Spidey
Doc Ock (w/o red nano-tech arms preferably)
Goblin (make it a deluxe so you can switch between his classic look and final look, and include his glider of course)

The final Spiderman suit might be the best Spidey costume ever tho.

I was also taken back by their intros.
I thought their intros were great. We were far enough into the movie & story that I'd kind of forgotten about TM & AG, so when Ned inadvertently opened a portal for AG it took a lot of people by surprise. After that one TM's arrival was pretty much expected, but it only added to the joy for me. Any earlier and there intros would have overshadowed
May's death
, and any later wouldn't have allowed for all the fun interactions.

Anyone who likes this film better not complain about Matrix having too much talking and little action or being too meta, because this whole film is like one big sketch where people make references for the audience to remember stuff they already knew to begin with.
I kept saying the story and pace never make it the greatest Spider-Man film.. why are people are still saying that as I look at more and more reviews online today :slap Take away the nostalgia and fan service ..and this film is all over the place

Oh gosh yes I still loved it are you kidding I went nuts lol

What I meant when I said taken back is that like many I was expecting their intro to be during a big action sequence of them swinging in all heroically and bad *** which no doubt would’ve also been cool but I get why they did it this way which was to just annoy Clown lol

So yeah it still packed a wallop of a punch for me and my packed covid audience!

But that's the point - this IS a nostalgia movie. Literally 7 characters are from previous franchise movies. This broke records simply cause of the nostalgia characters and honestly that was worth the admission.

I do agree like why all end movies of a run have to be really long. Endgame and NWH do suffer from a long burn in the beginning. Is it setting up other things or are you just pandering along? Cap didn't need the gay director therapy session. This didn't need the 5 admission rejection cuts to get to the final one. That might be the problem is that this played out just like Endgame structure and pacing. Both brought huge character moments however and an unforgettable ending.

I do think that Peter Parker is meant to be awkward and the films reflect that. Too much at times sure, but that's Peter Parker. Making awkward entrances and exits.

Don’t feel bad..you are playing it smart. It’s a dangerous time yet again in some areas and people need stay smart as well as practice safety

And no doubt Wor-Gar when he eventually sees it. Although I'm beginning to think they're the same person. :lol

(I think I may have just simultaneously offended both of them!) :rotfl

This movie packed such an emotional punch for me that I EASILY ignored the dark rubber cgi fights and nostalgia **** on display.

BW and Shang (didn’t watch Eternals yet next month on D+) didn’t bring the necessary feels required for me to overlook flaws.

I can not and will not agree with Clown on this one.

Good day sir!

Clowns aren't meant to be taken seriously anyway lol...

*sigh* I know right?

"Hey ZE, why's your mother dead?"
"I went to the movies to watch Spider-Man in the middle of a Plague Surge then picked up her meds delivery."

:slap

I mean, that's a worst case scenario I'm imagining, but it's kind of in the ballpark. I can't justify quarantining myself for 2 weeks over a superhero film.

I like that their appearances were done in a comical more civilian type of way..I think everyone would just expect they show up in a intense third act final battle showdown..this way we got a nice surprise and saw what we like and remembered about Garfield and Tobey’s version of Peter.

I thought the Filipino speak was dragging the scene and it was too long and I thought Ned having magical powers was a weak point of the plot

Wor-Gar is me, from another universe.

I was in the theater, watching the movie, then suddenly, I was in Wor-Gar's kitchen.
