What concerns me is the $69.99 price. I can't see Sideshow being generous enough to give us the figure on a Pro at that price, but I'd be very happily surprised if they do and it would be a very good price for the figure since it is 95% re-purposed and kit-bashed.

Particularly when pretty much none of the wardrobe or anything for Zombie priest was pre-existing and it had a fresh sculpt for the hands and head. Obi-Wan uses a pre-existing head, pre-existing saber molds and belt pieces, pre-existing patterns for clothes. They basically had everything done already to make an AOTC Obi-Wan, just a matter of assembling it, so I could see the AOTC Obi-Wan being close in price on a Pro too, plus if this is more a nod to fans of Obi-Wan and not a typical ES release, they may not go for as large a profit margin.

Same price as every other domestic exclusive. Not really surprised or bothered by it. I would've spent considerably more to get an accurate kitbash anyway so it really doesn't bug me much at all.

Yeah, I don't get how clone wars Obi costs £48 and this is £60.

If it's a SSC site exclusive, FP probably doesn't get it at the same cost as a regular release. It's the same reason LCS's have to charge higher prices for SSC exclusives, they have to buy those at retail cost. It's the only reason I buy exclusives direct from SSC, I'd rather support local business if I could.

Nah, he's got a PPO, which means he's not a site exclusive. also they mention the exclusive version as a separate thing. Likely , FP just put him up, expecting the prce to be higher than it was, and likely, like BBTS, they'll drop the price as it gets closer to shipping day.

Ah gotcha! I thought I read somewhere that he's is going to be a site exclusive like Praji or Ki-Adi.

Where did they mention that? I haven't seen that anywhere. Yes, he has a PPO, but that doesn't mean anything other than giving people a set time and opportunity to get him. I don't see how or even why they'd make both an exclusive and regular version considering he has such a limited run of only 1000.

In the newsletter, it states the Exclusive is the Kamino saberdart used to kill Zam Wessel that leads Obi-Wan on his journey.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the heads up. Guess that part didn't stick. Still a little confused on why they'd do that with such a low edition run. Boy, they're really sparing no expense on the Ex's huh? What's next? A grain of sand from Tunisia for the Tusken Raider Ex?!

If its a domestic ex what does it matter what the ex item is? Other than the dart there isnt much to give Obi-Wan is there really?

There are a couple of things you could give Obi to fill the AOTC Exclusive. There is the slug from Padme's room, the flying slug transport from Zam that he hung onto, the drink from the cantina, one of the holographic pieces from the younglings training room, one of the holographic transmissions to the Jedi Temple, his Geonosis Lightsaber but the best idea I've heard is an exclusive wethead sculpt so a Kamino fight recreation could be done.

It was my understanding that the edition size of the exclusive was 1000 units, and that the regular edition was yet to be decided, like normal with the Star wars releases.....
