Re: Rogue

so what was the issue again? just woke up yesterday after 6 months of sleep........... just joking around guys LOL. conversation here has gotten way too serious:)

:goodpost:

I can definitely appreciate why people are upset about this piece. I saw pics of the Vampirella comiquette today and it looks amazing, so I know what Sideshow is capable of. I'm hoping this is an isolated incident because I'm getting a little concerned about future pieces, as are most people. I went to a LCS today to check it out in person and it didn't really change my opinion at all. I have seen a few that look decent, based on in-hand pics, but overall, not too many.

Re: Rogue

lol you and your lame signature. you are a pretty good keyboard warrior on the internet. i don't understand why you waste your time here when you do not even own this piece.

Re: Rogue

I'm not sure why you're still insulting me.

But, if you can't handle the expression of an opinion other than ones you agree with, and if you intend to make a mess of this thread on account of it, out of respect for the man who owns this forum, I'll stop posting here.

Peace. :duff

Re: Rogue

Almost done repainting my Rogue EX head, decided to take a break for the night and finish the eye makeup tomorrow. I thought it had a lot of issues BEFORE I started repainting it but man, I kept running into more and more. It's just plain sloppy.

Looking forward to the unveiling. Be sure to post some pics.

Re: Rogue

Well here is mine. Same crap paint job as everyone else. Also her right foot doesn't sit flush on the base. I'm going to contact SS tomorrow about a refund. I have PF Cyclops coming on Monday so I hope his paint job is decent.

Re: Rogue

No that was the factory's fault!

This is the most ridiculous explanation Ave and yet you continue to use it again and again. I'd like to see you explain to your customers that "the problem had nothing to do with ARH but the factory" should one ever occur.

Have you ever heard of McDonalds directing the problem to their workers instead of taking charge of the situation? Sure it may be the worker that dropped the rat in the burger but McDonalds hired and trained him/her so in the end they should and would take full responsibility.

I don't see what is so hard to understand about that and yet you continue to place the blame on the factory :dunno Sideshow also said that they never received factory samples.....shouldn't they insist on getting one? Maybe they should blame the post office for losing the package.

Totally out of context!
I did not say that Sideshow has no fault! But due to the factory sloppy paint in this instance, its is that specific crew in the factory that did a bad job!
Case in point, did you see my Vamp pics? My god!! Now that is a statue with a near perfect paint application. My guess its the same factory!
What happened was the last minute pressures for changes by Disney, coupled with pressures to get these to you in time accumulated to a less than satisfactory paint application. Makes total sense to me.

And about ARH, at this time we have a smaller factory working for us. I am confident that issue such as this was missed one way or another by Sideshow. We are all still finding out the facts little by little. Its really unfortunate but what can Sideshow do, its a done deal? What was done is done, let them learn and move forward. Whatever they have to do they will!! I am sure of it! :lecture

Cool, can't wait to see the final outcome. Would be interesting to see the before and after pics.

Sure if it was a couple of pieces in the entire run I could see that. But seeing how widespread the problem is they should've caught it earlier on. That is what factory samples and quality control is for. Not receiving a factory sample is not a good excuse. Sideshow should have insisted on getting a factory sample. If the factory continues to delay then ask again. You don't forget about it because the factory forgot. What is so hard to understand about that? Hell tell the factory to take some pictures and send them via email.

I also don't believe the "last minute changes" by Marvel/Disney excuse. How can you start production of a piece before they are approved? The piece was previewed during SDCC 2010 and there are now last minute changes after SDCC 2011?

Makes no sense to me.
