Seriously though...looking at those shots of the feet and that shockingly bad saber hilt...what is it with Sideshow constantly being undone by paint apps over the years>

I still say wait until you have it in hand. There have many figures put out by SS that as soon as pictures surface of the production piece people will immediately trash it without getting it in hand first.

I do admit though that after all of this time SS should have better QC and paint apps. This years releases so far have all been pretty solid and I think Yoda will be as well.

But it's not paint apps this time. Sure they look flat ( could be the lighting) the actual sculpt looks rough and untidy

I think those slops and sculpt roughness won't be as evident in-hand, as those shots from the vid are magnified too much you can see things that you probably won't in its actual size.

Yeah - it doesn't help with that Sean geezer magnifying everything on camera, down to the quantum level.

One thing about all the SSC 1/6 Yoda head sculpts so far though, is the shape of his actual face - they still don't have it right, & it's throwing the overall look off. They've consistently elongated his face, instead of keeping it pudgy & on the wider side - like it's supposed to be.

I just took a quick look at the video…on mute…and I have to agree that the figure looks a bit toyish. HOWEVER, all his figures in the video look toyish, including the Hot Toys figures that pop up in there. He seems to have a unique talent in making any figure, no matter how great in real life, look cheap. So I would really wait til there are more in hand photos and videos before you all rush in with your pitchforks and torches.

And really, you can't find any 1/6 figure for that price any more. Especially considering with what he comes with, I think it's a good deal. Remember, the average Hot Toys price is now about $225, and the average Sideshow price is now about $175 (key word is "average").

As much as I want to get this ill just hold out.... Jist so disappointed so far. Sean Long is the worst and most overly annoying/addicted collector I have ever seen. His reviews I try to watch but can't because he's how old playing around with them. Like really? Grow the hell up and do a proper review. They're "Collectibles" not "Toys". Worst reviewer who somehow has subscribers and fans. He gets paid for that ****? Really? Just can't stand his reviews and his lies. His review on Yoda and his review on the Boba Mythos. With Yoda he lied the whole time and with the Boba Mythos he didn't know what the hell to do because he's never reviewed a statue in his life and couldn't pick up and play with it. He's to obsessed and needs to grow up in my opinion. That's all I got to say about him and with Yoda I'm disappointed as I stated. Sad sad SS...

that boba was the first statue he reviewed I think? I don't think he even collects nor does he even review statues, but now he reviews them cause ssc sponsors him? if ssc is gonna pay someone to review their products they should actually pay someone who actually collects their stuff. i'd even say half of the freaks here would prob do their stuff more justice then that dude.
