it works for me. if they stick totally Batman related and never do figures like Lobo or the new gods I'm all Pharrell Williams.

My rule of Thumb with this line is if the character is bat family or co starred with Batman in The Brave and the Bold, he/she is a purchase.

Personally I feel they should have finished the justice league cast before doing variants. That was DCD big disastrous problem they couldn't stick with a run before getting high and doing a revamp because it's what the rice crispies was telling them in there high state while they were on an eating binge.

There's a reason DCD did 3 Batmen and 3 Supermen - the heavy hitters sell better. The 4th Batman is always going to sell better than Aquaman or Martian Manhunter.

It's funny, I've liked the villains from this line pretty well but the two heroes they've done just aren't that great to me. I'd consider getting Harley, Catwoman, and The Joker if there was a decent Batman to go with them but I didn't like the first Sideshow one and this one doesn't seem much better.

just the truth. the fact that batman exists means that there is 'a chance' of the other figures. without him to subsidize the others the line wouldn't exist.

I'm still looking forward to this one, tuesday should give us more to go on.

DCD did alot more different character figures than 3 batmen and 3 supermen. A 4th Batman will not sell better if it looks like this one.

I'm not saying that batman won't sell I am saying that veering off course before establishing a cohesive collection is bad direction. DCD did multiples of batman and superman because they have severe ADD that drugs can fix. An Aquaman and Martian Manhunter would sell especially if it's better quality than DCD done by Sideshow for 2 reasons a need for a complete justice league and 2 better quality collectible figure. your going to have hard core fans that only want there fan fave.

However there is plenty of Justice League fan's that like when they work as a collective group. As well as the core villains from the secret society of super villains. this extra batman is just fluff to get chump change when they could get more money.

There is core characters we should see:
Green Lantern
Flash
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
Hawkman (girl was much later)
Wonder Woman

Supporting characters:
Black Canary 2 (mother was JSA)
Green Arrow
Atom
Dr. Fate
Red tornado
Zatanna
Firestorm
and the list goes on.

What im saying is with only 6 core characters why not get them out of the way before doing more unless they are trying to push out batman before the contract for him runs out.

On the negative side, if the line's doing good they might think that the quality of it is any good.

I dont see it asa bad line at all. The Joker, catwoman, harley quinn, and batman are solid figs. Superman fell kinda short, but looks pretty good with some tweaks.

The difference here is that while DCD and even now DCC goes to the Superman and Batman well a lot they spread them out. The Superman figure wasn't that well received en masse like the Batman was but even in that, it feels early for another Batman but then they did that in their 1:1 busts too.

If this Batman isn't really openly accepted though that'll spell trouble for the line. There weren't a ton of people of went back in on Superman, more like people who either made it better or found happiness in it and the line can't really sustain a "heavyhitter" going south again.

The preview they chose looks odd so hopefully Thursday we see something better.
