Does this figure get anyone else wanting to rewatch the SW movies?

Not until I can watch proper non-special edition versions of the OT again. I haven't actually watched any of the OT films for some time now and don't see myself ever watching them again until we get some proper non-SE DVDs. It's just not the same with all of that cgi and unnecessary additions.

Sadly, I agree. Not so much whining, but I do find that the fuller conversations are those geared towards a negative view of something. When people like stuff, it usually ammounts to mindless, one sentence posts like "Awesome, I'm so getting this." to which there is no conversation to be had. The critical commentary is the only thing that ever gets people talking in depth and really opening up. I find myself involved in such chats more so for the fact that it's the only way to engage in a conversation here than anything.

Just messing with you, Sean. The threads are saturated with one line responses but it is, after all, a site dedicated to dorks (us) and our toys. People get what they want and bask in the 30-45 minutes of buyers euphoria unless, of course, they're unsatisfied. Then they log on a piss and moan. The complaining prior to even getting something in hand is what amazes me (says the guy who complained this morning about the Emperors throne being made of polystone).

Light up features are overrated for the most part. I would honestly like to customize the throne with lights myself. the polystone kills those ambitions..

Not necessarily, I managed to get lights for the hookah and frog bowl into Jabba's throne, though whether something will be similarly possible here is still uncertain.

Man, I really can't wait for more pics.... Those hand sculpts look great. The pinkys being slightly raised makes me think force lightning is going to be part of it... and if that's the case a second headsculpt will be incl. too.

The hands definitely have a Sith lighting posture, now whether we ever have lighting coming from them or just hold those 2 in air and mime it, who knows.

Hate to imagine what the price would be if it did, but I'd like to see it! Can see myself cancelling the Medicom Kaneda & Bike to cover the cost of these two.

I thought I saw someone guess this piece at 150.00. I am guessing that if Thrawn/Command Chair is 225.00, that this one will be 250.00-275.00...particularly if there are lightning bolts and second head sculpts involved.

It says that the items are 'SOLD SEPARATELY'...I'm guessing $89.99 - $99.99 for the Emperor and $149.99+ for the throne.

Thrawn's throne is under $150 and it is probably the same size or bigger than Palp's. So $150 is probably a good guess since it is sold seperately. Cobra Commander's throne was $200 at a lot bigger.
