So we have been sleepy SSC has totally changed their shipping windows for EVERYTHING it seems. They are now giving themselves a 3 month window for each statue.

Batmab Est Shipping: 1st Qtr 2013.

Now that includes March, but it seems to be a change for the entire system.

Okay I guess I am not being clear. If you looked at the SSC Page for any statue a few weeks ago they gave SPECIFICA months when things would come out. Now instead of that they have Quarters.

For example

Two weeks ago for Batman:

Estimated Shipping Date: March 2013

Now it reads

Estimated Shipping Date: 1st Quarter 2013


What I am saying is their estimated shipping times for EVERY statue have changed to 3 month windows instead of being in specific months as they were 2 weeks ago.

Sigh... Guys I am not talking about if it will or will NOT ship on time...

I am talking about the fact that SSC has stopped giving us projected SPECIFIC MONTHS something will ship (I.e. June), to a new system that gives an estimated QUARTER of a YEAR (I.e. 3rd Quarter which could be July, August, or September). so you won't have a specific month to expect something.

Every statue I have been paying attention two has changed to this QUARTERS system.

Now again I am not angry. This just seems like a VERY different system then what I saw before.

What are you trying to say, I don't think I understand you correctly?

I loved that conversation. People were half reading things and then just kept talking about delays which had nothing to do with ANYTHING I was asking. It wasn't frustrating at all

Man I tell you. I see some of the people and their current PO's and wonder how they afford it. Or where they put all that **** for that matter. Oh well, I guess good for them. I would be living out of a card board box not only because I was broke but because my wife would throw me out.

I think we all have to find that balance. Some can get more but its still a big balancing act.

I was just looking at this in the 360 view and this is going to be "that piece" that you can display in so many ways. It really is imposing from any number of views. I can not wait.

Yeah a few of them just didn't get it there. This is the first time I've seen them use Quarters so extensively. I'm not a fan of it.

I guess this helps to cover themselves. To be safe I guess just have the money ready at the start of the quarter...but you could potentially have too many things hit back to back because you never know when in that quarter it will hit. Some of my POs were scheduled for back to back months which was no huge deal, but now that they're in quarters I could end up with 3 in 1 month. That could have happened anyway given delays, but now they can say there are less delays as long as it ships somewhere within that quarter. They can relax just a bit more.
