Thanks for bring this to my attention. After a little digging found out I left myself logged on and the wife wrote that as a joke. Needless to say I have not cancelled it even though she would like me to.

Sounds like someone needs to Lay down the Law... LOL.

That is actually pretty funny. Much respect to your wife.

Well in the end when he comes in I am sure you will love him m8. Honestly, I know you and I have similar feelings, but this looks awesome from most viewing angles... IMHO

I hope so. But it is the front on shot (above right) and the side view that makes me worry. I flat out hate the way he looks from the side. But I hope that all the other angles and the final look of the product mak up for this.

I think you're right about an alt arm with the batarang ready the throw JAWS though it doesn't make sense that try wouldn't resculpt the cape if they dropped that pose.

I think the billowing cap was done to denote movement. Batman is either stepping up onto the Gargoyle or the wind is billowing and pushing the cape up a bit. Canale does some amazingly dynamic poses, so I think the placement of the leg with the twist of the torso and pelvis (which is a ***** to depict by the way) helps to have more dynamic movement. That sense of movement is one of the things I love about this one.

I think Batman PF is perfect! I love it! Watch the videos from SDCC.....It looks absolutely phenomenal, I hope the production pieces are similar.

Honestly, the SDCC video and photos are what convinced me I HAD to get him. The basic "in hand" pics just convinced me that this piece is going to be TOTALLY awesome. The video just looks like Bats is about to get to business and I love that feel.

This was the first piece I ordered and from what I can tell it is gonna be great. I have learned from being on this form that some times the production pieces can pale I comparison to the proto but let's hope that not the case here. Other recent release seem to suggest the are back on track with there QC from what other threads are saying.

I'm not a huge Batman fan but I really dig this PF and since this will most likely be the only Batman statue I'll ever own, ordered the EX. Hope we see this before summer.

I am betting given the AMAZING quality that went into the Joker PF, and with how close that was to the proto I can't imagine they would even consider coming in short on Batman. This could be the most important piece of the entire line. Either they HOOK us or the piss us off.

Great pic from Spidey976. it shows 2 portraits with long&short ears. Well thats "justified" its high price tag. I heard the price tag for supes also similar with the bat, hopefully we can get 2 portraits for the reg - I WISH

Yes. Both the REG & EX have 2 portraits. The EX has a batarang as well. That is the only difference between the REG & EX besides the edition size.

Obi-Wan over at SF has stated that the Ex for Superman will be the second change out portrait with red eyes.

As for the two heads on Batman one is by Martin Canale, and the other by Andy B... I don't think we could ask for ANYTHING better.

P.S. I love posting awesome pics... I have EVERYONE I CAN FIND saved.

Besides my EX Storm (which I already got and LOVE), my EX Poison Ivy and EX Batman are my most anticipated pieces all year!

I love everything about this PF. The only thing I wish, is that one of the two heads would have been an EX only switch out.

I can get why they wouldn't want to do an EX only switch out with Batman. I can see them wanting the Reg to be ALMOST as attractive as the EX for new collectors. This is there first Major DC Hero... Get us all chomping at the bit for the ENTIRE line. Superman should have the EX COH, and THAT will be a **** storm on order day.

If you think about it how many people are still going to be over the moon happy just to have the Regular in a few years. This Batman piece is AMAZING. I am just luck I got into this hobby when I did. Batman is AMAZING!!!
