No problem bro, we are all here for the same reasons. We love statues good or bad and we are here to learn, buy, just talk about them, sell, invest, whatever it may be. We all know one thing. And that is we love statues.

Exactly! And Sideshow is an amazing company and is capable of great things. If people didn't critique them when they do less than their best then things wouldn't get changed for the better. We are all collectors and deserve the best. Thanks for the support guys. I've said my piece for the day, time to hear from others. I'm never on this forum that much but with the Polar Vortex I've been locked inside and staying on my favorite forum today. There wasn't much else to do 'cause we couldn't leave the place. @Jaws, I suppose it's not in my nature to constantly complain about a piece that I have yet to physically see. It just gets the other members who have been waiting a long time for this upset. Once the flaws have been pointed out, SS is or will be aware when 2000 EX owners want to return it for this reason or that. No amount of Soap Box ranting on here is gonna make SS look at things differently until we start sending ****ty work back. I am happy to give praise to a SS piece like MJ. I will vote with my wallet when Bats is in my belfry.

The comics have much better QC. All the boobs are perfectly fit into the spandex boob compartments as well.

And I just made that dialogue up. Someone should make it a movie.

What the hell is everybody complaining about. Sideshow only had a year and a half to work on Batman's seams. Everybody knows it takes at least four years to get them to line up properly and to not have saggy armpits.

Lol. Still looks alright to me (but I am slightly colourblind lol).

Re PJs-I had and sold a captain america PF. Mine was baggy around the middle and had odd seams and dont let us get started on the wolverine PF. This looks much better than the latter based on these pictures (Wolvy was wearing thick winter PJs after all lol).

May have missed some but all the photos so far appear at odd angles (looking down or up to him), they have a flash and there is no lighting. The best have been those statue forum ones with a flash IMO.

Think we just need natural light, SLR pics posted after someone has moved the costume about a bit. If I get mine this week (possible to UK with SS) I will definitely get the camera out for this piece. Take some photos with the BUST

But I have a simple request for those receiving this statue and upon receiving it aren't happy about the armpits:

Contact Sideshow.

The only thing that will matter is if they get direct feedback. Contact claims and request replacement bodies for the shoddy craftsmanship. One of several things will happen if they get enough requests:

1. They'll start a wait list for replacements and get to work on them like Rogue heads and Spider-Woman (who still came back bad, but eh)

2. If there's any good pit Batmen, they'll exchange

3. If there's no hope for replacing they'll offer money back, you decide if you want the payout to keep it or a full refund.

4. Or if SS is feeling particularly cold they'll just let you know you can get a full refund.

The point is if you get yours and it's not what you expected, let SS know. Nothing happens by keeping frustrations confined to a board. Email and phone call. If Batman really is that bad, just like with Rogue, they will have to do something. Or nothing, but then you can return it.

If my Batman armpits look like what I've seen so far, I'm contacting SS immediately. Not much more to it than that.

Let's be constructive in our actions. Let SS know. In any event, if enough people complain here and nothing is done, that's a loud message to future collectors who want info on this piece and look at board reactions. It'll give SS a hard time selling through the 1000s of regulars they'll have left.

These photos have shown me what I needed to see. If mine comes in looking like this example, I will keep it. Is it the home run I had hoped for? Unfortunately, no. Once again, SS' practice of parting out the sculpting duties with disproportional results, QC overseen by Helen Keller, and delays causing expectations to soar have bitten them in the arse.

Looks like SS screw up on the qc again. Cant understand why they can have homerun with Mary Jane, Galactus, Sauron etc and yet screw up on one of the most anticipated statue....
