Thanks! Yeah, l like it a lot too, but wanted a decent unmasked alternative. What I didn't like was the popeye face.

i dig the unmasked sculpt. beachhead was pretty much perfect right out of the box imo. i added knee pads to my exclusive and that was it.

Yup, me too. I think the field ops guys look better with the kneepads; I've got a spare set ready for Stalker, and Dusty comes with his attached a la Snake Eyes and Duke. My only Joe without the kneepads is Flint.

I 've also added additional weapons as I see fit, such as the HK417 on these pics. I currently have him posed with a M249 I was finally able to track down.

My Beachhead is still a WIP. I need to find some decent knee pads myself.

One thing I am not a fan of is the attached knee pads. I have been wanting to replace Duke and SE's for awhile.

I like BH molded mask. I dont care for the 1/6 masks. I have yet to see one that looks good. I hate how they have the thick seam on top, and because the plastic head doesn't have any give, the ears nose, and hair stick out unrealistically.

SE looks alright without the pad, but yea the velco on Dukes knees stands out. Been looking for a matching set of pants.

molded masks are the only way hope they redo snake eyes with a molded head visor second head on the new snakes

i really dig the knee pads that came with the cobra troops. i bought several extra pairs not too long ago to use on a couple of other figures i had picked up. just dig them cause they are solid and they look good. no glue or velcro so they are not always falling off or popping loose.

Yeah the knee pads that came with the Trooper, Officer, and Sniper (as well as Firefly) are great. Unfortunately, TA doesn't have them in stock anymore, so I had to grab some Hot Toys / Soldier Story knee pads. I'm sure more kneepads will be available when the Desert Sniper (and eventual Desert Officer) come out, but they aren't black like the ones mentioned previously.

I took a pair of kneepads from my PH seal guy and added them to Beach. I'll take more pics when I get a new head for him...

The irony is, the real guy who the HS is based on is closer to a real-life GI Joe than any of the celebrity heads you typically get off a 1/6 figure. I imagine he could whip most people in the behind pretty easily as well.

I am sure he could, but that headsculpt does him no justice. DERP OF THE MOON.
