Looks like less than 100 left

I don't see a LOTR vibe at all. SS still gets most of their sales from retailers.

Exactly, as long as somene is paying SS, then theyve made there money and the line will continue. Id love to see this line go 50 deep, or so, but highly doubt it

It would have been nice if Sideshow posted a pic of Flint without his beret. Wondering what the beret-less sculpt looks like.

Where did it say they were doing to headsculpts? Or that the Beret could come off? I'd love it if it did but I'm remembering German Indy and they listed the hat as an item but well it doesn't come off (at least it's not supposed to).

Yup. I don't think the beret comes off or that there's a separate hatless sculpt.

A dozen pages of price discussion and all I can think about is how absolutely great Flint looks. Just wow, what a great job.

CAHobbit posted the following on page 14 of this very thread, post #138:

"Beret will be removable. Just FYI for those that were wondering."

Not sure how much stock to put in that, but CAHobbit is apparently a employee of Sideshow.

If SS shows how much they have left, why does their site still shows limited edition TBD?
They can (and sometimes do, apparently) increase the number of exclusives after the initial pre-order phase has passed. They list initial pre-orders based on estimated interest I would think, but it might be slightly conservative. The number of pre-orders actually placed helps to dictate how many are actually produced.

Thanks for the info. It'll be nice if he's correct and hopefully they'll show it soon too.

Instead of doing that they should make a date from when to when you can place an order for the exclusive. And state while supplies last during the time so the numbers won't be too high. Nevermind sounds like the PPO process.

I think it was SSdusty that popped in this thread and told us the beret was removable...

They blocked Cool Toy Review? It is your constitutional right to view CTR where ever you are. I recommend an iPhone :)

Hmmmm . . . . . . . money for iphone or money for action figures . . . . . . at 29 you'd think my answer would be different but I still have to go with action figures but I am tempted.
