... not sure if want?

some shots, he looks excellent, others.... not so much.

My only gripe is I don't care for the head-sculpt much sans the Beret.. but then He's not meant to have it off, so... I donno.

I'll keep him regardless. Got the EX coming via flex-pay.

Worst case scenario, i'll find him a new Head-sculpt.

Thank you muchly Mr Cruel!:clap Actually, Sideshow should thank you, they get to keep my money! Looks much better in those shots. Last time I'll bother you, but did they in fact change the stand?

I didn't even think to check that. Yes, crotch stand with flint.

meh. the head paint looks like crap. i hate how they paint individual strands of hair for the hairline and especially the eyebrows. it looks like millipedes are running across his brow.

You must be new to collecting military figures. :nana: Most of the fun is getting them put together. :huh

I've posted enough on the various Joe threads and taken my share of shots from you :rotfl for you to know I'm not new to collecting the Joe line (and by extension, military figures). I may not have as much experience in the 1/6 arena as most of you guys (having transitioned from polystone stuff), but am by now means new at all.

And you're right, putting them together is most of the fun...except the frustration of things not fitting right as Darth Cruel alluded to.

One more shot from work. Then I'll try to get s few better shots. I think I futzed him to where I want him, but I don't like the quality of the photos I took.

Edit - As I mentioned before, the buckle has a nice gold color to it. These shots were taken in flourescent lighting...and dull flourescent lighting at that.

Edit2 - I will likely lose the grenade pouches and grenades...just don't like them on Flint.

He's getting there a little bit at a time. (Edit - The lighting is definitely better in this shot)

Looks really good here. I look forward to getting this guy.

Now that Nam has me thinking about it, the "soft" sculpt might actually be better than the detailed head, making him look a bit more like the cartoon version. Thanks for listening, Sideshow! :lol

You missed the ":nana:" didn't you? :lol Anyway, I wouldn't look at loading the shells into the straps as frustrating. You wanna talk frustrating. Weaving 1:6 scale MOLLE is ____ing frustrating! :lol

SEE GUYS! He accepts responsibility. So if there's any aspect of this figure you hate, blame Kara.

Looks on par with Duke. Not great, not horrible. Just typical Sideshow, producing and excellent figure with subpar paints, nothing surprising about that.

Sideshow simply refuses to move forward in that department. Guess they are happy being mediocre :dunno

Cant wait to get him in hand though :rock
