I asked about this line on the SSC Facebook page- and they kinda sorta told me not to ask about it.

looks like a beat down used car salesman is wearing a oversize red dippers, bought it on sale, and wear a belt to keep in place.

What folks? Have just noticed this thread to be honest. And, I must agree with Alainator. This is not a well put together figure. Besides, if someone wants Superman in that costume, CR Superman's heaps better, innit?

Counter argument? To what exactly?

I'm curious how you know what you know about how this figure is put together. And also, could you provide some side by side shots with the CR Superman?

Thanks.

I largely base that on how the overall figure looks in terms of proportion.

Borrowing Robbie's pic to show how bad it looks (the same goes to the other figs in the line):

Prototype vs Production.

Hope you can see why I said what I said earlier.:duff

Note that the posters say "Prototype pending final licensor approval." Which basically means that that is the final prototype ready for the production cycle once they have the green light from the licensor. Which is why any prototype that gets published onto media has always been the same or very close to the final product.

If it's in sculpey form, unpainted, etc. or the "final" bit wasn't there, you have a point.:duff
