I never took mine out of plastic it's nice to know it's made like a real trench nice work of tailoring on SSC part.

Hi!
I was hesitant about this figure, but when I saw the video from SDCC and some of the latest review I ordered mine. I'd say is the best Joker/Comic representation so far...

Can't wait to get mine....

Regards from Costa Rica!

So UPS screwed me again. After missing it on Friday, I went online and authorized them to leave it on my porch. I get home to another notice that I missed it. And talking to someone at UPS customer service got me nowhere.

Yeah, that doesn't work anymore due to the new restrictions Sideshow has placed on all orders over $185 bucks. Even if you authorize the "No Signature Required" feature online, they still won't deliver it. You only have a few options:

A. Call SSCs to have them have UPS hold it or reroute it. Rerouting comes with an additional $5 charge to your account.

B. Keep missing the package until they send it back to SSCs.

C. Have SSCs change your shipping address or sign a signature waiver. Unfortunately, these options won't apply to this package. If you chose sig waiver for future orders, you will have to sign a waiver for each order for the first 3 successful deliveries before they will give you a blanket waiver to cover all your current and future orders.

Kcufing sucks...I know.

Normally I do the signature waiver when I place my orders with SSC. I've done this for years with no problem. I apparently forgot to do it this time.

It's stupid for UPS to have a signature waiver online and on the back of the slip if doesn't do you any good. I understand SSC's policy, but how do they override UPS's policy once UPS has it? Isn't the whole idea behind signature waiver to waive the signature? :lol

Anyway, now I have to wait until tomorrow and drive to the UPS facility to pick it up. What a pain in the ***.

The pictures looked great and said I would pass but when I saw some reviews on him my mind has changed. Definitely thinking of picking him up looks very nice. Sideshow has definitely improved much more. Not Hot Toys Quality yet but getting there. Price is still a bit high but I think i'll still order. We'll see.

So I take it I am the only one who made his gloved hands purple. LOL

I had a feeling the suit was kato's work, I did a plain tan trench for one of my ken dolls using a human trench pattern that I shrunk in my mind and placed on paper. I use to confuse my teachers when I would just draft patterns in moments. Sometimes I'm off by a 1/8inch but not bad for eyeballing it. I just hate making collars and pockets their my kryptonite

First impressions - This is a great figure to kick off the DC line. I love the sculpts and accessories. The clothes are nice but definitely need some futzing. The spats actually being separate from the shoes is a nice touch. The Joker Fish are a must.

Minor nit - The pink on the face. It's a little too much...Especially on the ears.

Major nit - I hate the knees. Trying to pose him to look natural or try and hold a pose on his own is next to impossible. I like taking pics without using a stand, so it's going to be a challenge.

I just got back from picking mine up. Probably won't take pics for another day or two.

Congrats. :duff

Agreed on all points.

The knees are my biggest complaint about this guy.

I have already removed the lower legs from my Sideshow Indy body, but I could only get them out by destroying the thighs. I haven't figured out how to get the lower legs off the the Joker body without wrecking anything yet, but once I do the Indy legs should just pop into place. Then I'll just need to strengthen the ankles in order to have a free standing figure.

Good luck with those legs. I hope it works out. Have you tried ironing or water treating any of the clothes?

Got the tuxedo jacket almost completely soaked and then blew it dry. Made a huge difference. His left shoulder was a rumpled mess before I did that.

But equally important was getting some cotton in place where there should have been shoulder pads.

I also used some fresh fashion tape all along the lapel.

Again, here's what that looks like:

That's what was bugging me about the shoulders. I couldn't pinpoint it, but something was off. They need to be sharp not dull.

Oh, I didn't realize you had done that for those pics. Looking at mine I can see what a huge difference the cotton makes in the shoulders. I'll be doing that for sure.
