I was worried that coming out of the box he would have issues...only worked for about 10 mins so far...looks pretty good!

Adding cotton to the shoulders is a great idea!
He looks too gummy to me, I think I may elongate the teeth and thicken out the sides of his head with hair, like this quick photoshop I did........................

Some quick pics. I didn't have time to do any futzing or my usual camera setup. I'm a very busy man. :lol

all in all I give joker really high score for what you get with him it really is a bang for the buck. I don't nit pick much because im grateful for a passible comic book model, mostly because I hate the dcd line they charged almost half and produced a figure under quality.

the only figure in this set I cant stand 100% is the catwoman, because one im a catwoman fan and I just wont until one reaches my level of expectations. 2nd reason this particular figre is over-exposed which will make it less sellable in the long run. If they did a more classic look it might get my attention.

superman's only pet peeve is the black border in the S symbol on chest it's not needed nor wanted.

as far as batmans cape which I have heard people qualms abot their is a way to make the center front on fold but it does waste fabric plus I guess since SSC did show it in promo pics they have to have the cowl piece but I feel it was eliminated due to restrictions of movement.

joker I only had 4 issues. sloped shoulders, thick tie and purple not classic black. and penguin white gloves when his was purple. and his awkward legs that just don't seem to cooperate much at all.

as far as Harley, I hate the corset and will be removing it promptly. the boots will be replaced by feet with elf shoes in latex.
debating if I should remake her jumpsuit out of latex as well so she has a totally unique body suit, but may require a body change, not sure so she may end up being an expensive custom bt worth it to stand next to joker.

Switched mine over to a narrow true type that I had lying about. Took the white forearms off the buck and switched them out with the true type ones so I don't even have to mod the wrist pegs. Looks much better, still May water futz the clothes though. Wouldn't have bought a true type specifically for it but since I had one I thought what the heck.

I picked up The Joker from my LCS today, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the figure. Head sculpts are very good, the outfits are outstanding IMHO and it's loaded with accessories that really give you plenty of options for display. Weak point is of course the body, specifically the legs at the knees and ankles...but I found that to be an easy fix. First I tightened up the ankle joints with some super glue, that helped a lot. Then I had to address the knees. I can't really see the need for ratchet points on a sixth scale figure, especially if they are going to be so coarse...but my biggest complaint was how they swiveled on the upper joint where they go into the thigh, that really made it unstable. So I made sure the upper knee joint was clicked all the way forward & dropped some super glue in there to keep them tight...now the knees just bend at the lower joint and they are much tighter overall. The figure has no problem standing on its own. I don't understand why SS doesn't just license/ use HT true type bodies for their DC figures. Oh well. Except for the body I really think SS first DC figure is damn close to HT quality...the paint apps on the face & teeth could be a little more refined. I still have a bit more futzing to do....I want to pad the shoulders to square them up as Maglor suggested and get the lapels to lay a bit more flat.
I snapped off a couple quick pics & I'm going to try & find time this weekend to do a full suite of pics.

I like that last pic a lot! I need to futz mine and take new pics. I might try gluing the knees, too. Anything's better than leaving them how they are.

Well, I got one lower leg removed/replaced. Can't get the second one out though...

Nice shots.

I'm not sure the tuxedo jacket will fit under the overcoat with the padding, FYI.

I got it on but when it's all said and done I'll probably display him without the overcoat. My Jack Joker is already displayed with the hat and coat and I kinda want to mix it up a bit. On the other hand I really like the Killing Joke look on him.
