I dont mind the likeness, but this statue has absolutely no power. He's standing there like he is putting a book back on a shelf, not as if he's wielding the mighty Mjolnir.

it all has to do with his facial expression, he's too calm in it. Should show some rage or constrain trying to hold the hammer.

but overall this turned out okie.

I feel like ive been hating too hard on these statues lately and I hate that. But Im real disappointed here. The paint on the face is too thick and the helmet, the hammer and cape look cheap. I was lookin forward to pickin him up too so I dont want to count him out yet so ill have to check him out in person somewhere. But I own some statues that I love and ppl have trashed on here so I dont want to make anyone feel bad. If your happy with it good for you congrats. And dont let negative words kill ur hype.

I'd say the cape is a success, with more work going into it than others I've seen. There is more tailoring than usual and it is designed to attach with magnets and drape nicely. I love the cape, the helmet and the hammer. This is going to be a great display piece once I get my minor issues sorted out.

Glad you're enjoying it bud, it looked great to me (despite the minor issues). I thought the cape and everything looked fantastic.

Wow, I am surprise that many of you guys are happy with the way it turns out. I thought there would be a lot of complains after the first in-hand pics but I guess I am wrong. Maybe because lately SSC has done some crappy job own a few pieces, made me expect bad comments from others.

but what exactly is wrong with it? The paint app looks fine and not sloppy, sculpt/color is accurate to the ap photos..

Noone so far with a negative comment can say what actually is wrong with this statue except his stance is not as epic? the face paint too thick is purely camera & lighting, look at tomandshell's closeup of the heads, they are just fine. It's nitpicking imo.

If mine arrives as good as those in hand photos i will be very happy. Love the way they did the cape with magnets like ultron's cape, then cover it up with another piece so you dont see the connecting points.

My Thors left leg is completely broken. Looks like it was already damaged before it was shipped because the styrofoam was taped up.

He's here! My initial feelings are that it rocks. My chest plate has one cheesy fix and a missing chip, so I'll need a replacement for that. Pics coming up soon...

I looks good. I wish the cape was wired & he was a little bulkier. Face sculpt is really nice.

Just got mine hmmmm this one does not wow me to be honest

I really feel the cape is a let down, too flat. I wish the cape is sculpted.

I like the comic version much better.
