Yea not digging the hiss Zartan. The material hangs too much like hair. "Sideshow correction" not found.
 
i've modded one of mine as well...changed to TT, lost the shirt, painted the armor...but i still think this is one of sideshow's best figures right out of the box.
 
RnR looks like an absolute bad ass right out of the box as well. getting him and Z pretty much back to back was pretty flippin' sweet.

Not just the cowl but switching out the SS body for a HT TTM19 eliminating the sleeveless shirt and hood.

I posted the link here because I liked it and thought others might as well.

If you don't, cool, but there is a way to be tactful about things. Mind you, I don't know Ultra other than me commenting that I liked the hood over at Hisstank. How about offering the guy some helpful feedback rather than just knocking him if you don't like it?

I'm familiar with Ski's work and I must say that he is a major talent. I've even asked about getting one of those repainted R'nR head as soon as I can locate another.
His custom hood is impressive but it is not the look I am trying to acheive.
For me, it was never a hood he wore, but more a tattered cloth over his head to conceal his face and the makeup is actually shadowing casted by that cloth.
 
IMM0 it's a nice custom hood, Ultra. Verrrry well done.
I just don't feel the arabian look with this character :)
 
I always thought it was a leather cowl over his head. If I had any skillz I'd try to make one, but I don't. I think you made a good attempt Ultra. For everyone who thinks the figure needs to pay homage to the original figure design (regarding the exposed abs) I would have thought you get more support for your attempt on making the hood less like a "hood" and more like what he originally wore. Regardless, its an interesting change and if you like it, awesome.
