The REAL reason BuffyGirl doesn't like Stan Lee...

Stan Lee killed Tara!!! :panic: :monkey3

:lol :rotfl :lol :rotfl

If only that were true. I could stop blaming Joss for it.

I honestly don't have anything against stan lee. I'm just not a fan of his. Which is okay. It's great that he created Hulk/Spiderman, etc. Wonderful for the Marvel universe. But that doesn't mean I have to be a fan of HIS. Some of his work? Yes, sure. His creations? Sure. But he himself?? No. I honestly mean nothing against him and/or his fans.

My daughter Selina surprises Stan with a little gift: A Spidey toy!
She was just shy of 4 years of age at the time.

Here is a moment captured on film!

Selina took at least 25 pics today. The little darling was such a good sport. She was awesome.

Selina and Poison Ivy

Selina and a very hot Green Lantern. This one had guys turning heads all day.

I can actually hear her say, "Are you talkin' to me? Yeah? I dare ya. I double dare ya!"
All of 3 years old and ready to kick Rebel Fleet butt.

You just know that when little girls want to kiss Darth Vader, someone ain't so scary anymore... lol.

I thank you for the touching photos.

No need to explain, I was just bored at work and thought that would be a funny image. :)

The nicest guy in the world doing one of the worst things geekdom has experienced!

Nice scores, xYx. Got my Cap 100 signed. Over the moon about it. Meeting him was a moment I'll never forget.

Thanks KBA. :duff
Congrats on yours as well! :rock2
Did you go yesterday or today?
They had to turn people away with the place being over capacity. :lol

Drove down today and got in quite early. Utter madness, man. People who've been to SDCC were saying it was on par for crowd craziness. I hope the organizers learn something for next year: cap the attendance!

I know he will be at the Philly Comic Con in June and they have signature prices listed..he is at $50. Chris Hemsworth is 99 or $150 for anything other than 8X10

He's coming to the Wizard Con for Chicago in August. Does anyone know if they limit the amount of signatures? I have about 5 statue bases I would love to have signed by Stan. Has anyone had multiple sigs by Stan? Don't want to haul the bases to the Con if he limits the amount of signatures.

You're just pay per autograph, at least in Calgary, $50 per sig

Good to know. Thanks for the info. I'll have to do some packing of bases for the Con. I don't know when he'll ever show up in the Chi town area again. I'll try to make it 1 stop shopping.

And this might very well be Stan's last tour for conventions considering he's almost 90 years old.

That's one of the main reasons for wanting to get multiple bases signed. Not sure if this chance will ever come again for me.

From what I have heard the tickets for his signature usually sells out weeks before the Con so if you want to play it safe make sure to get them early so you won't be disappointed.

I haven't been a big fan of WW Chicago the last couple years but Stan being there is a big deal for me and I am definitely going. Like you I was thinking of getting at least a photo OP but can't decide if I want an autograph since I'm not sure what I would get signed. I have the spiderman CQ but I would rather have something that people could see more clearly. Maybe a canvas print of one of the older Spiderman comics....decisions, decisions

Go for something he wrote. Having him sign a piece of comic history HE created is the way to go IMO.
