Star Ace should have stuck with the molded hair (of the unpainted sculpt) that was released in those pics a few weeks back.

I don't have the expertise nor skill to make the rooted hair look screen accurate.

Based on how her hair looks in the movie, you will need no skill to make her hair look screen accurate.

Given the initial book description of Hermione and the way she looked in this film, I could see rooted hair working here but for the appearances past that I doubt it'll work.

Looks good. The rooted hair works for this one. Hope they don't use it for the older versions though. Especially year 7 version with her hair in a ponytail.

Looking forward to some HD photos of this.

Really? I thought their likenessses for HP were signed over to WB?

I like her books and quill. Not sure about the test tubes. Perhaps they were thinking of Chamber of Secrets and the Polyjuice potion.
