Once I ditched my regular play style after a couple of rounds, I started to do better on both sides. When I first heard of the changes they would implement, I was leery but the game still feels very similar to the originals. I also love that you can switch to third person if you want. Flying is gonna take some getting used to.

I had fun but not sure I'll be playing the beta all weekend. It's fun but kinda weak. I might just wait until the full game comes out to play more.

The gameplay is more different from Battlefield than I expected, I think I like it more that way. As far as there being a lack of content, not all of the content is listed in the menu of the beta, the full game will have a lot more than that.

As expected it looks amazing, and there's also new original music which sounds really great also.

I'm wondering if some of the music I've heard is actually William's upcoming score to TFA?

I am absolutely loving this. Easily playable and feels like Star Wars. I love it. Day one purchase

The beta did disappoint me a bit too, although mainly because i think i built it up to be better than it was.

I agree with everything they said on the review posted a few pages back, i played about an hour and was severely bored by the end of it. The Sullest map level is too small and the run and gun is more akin to COD style of playing.

The Hoth level is better but having everything as a power up that you pick up is rubbish. Still looking forward to the game but it definitely was made with kids players at the forefront of their mind.

I tried every button last night to get it to 3rd person.. NO CHANCE !! how do you switch ???

Besides.. how can you use vehicles and ships ??

I picked up power ups, but had no clue how to even use them. Tried every button on the controller.

On the Dpad - hold down on the down button - the online menu screens under 'Controller' or whatnot shows you this too

No you can seamlessly switch between 3rd and 1st person as you are playing, on any mode. Just keep hold of the down button.

There's something awesome about feeling like you're in the middle of a giant battle on Hoth (in at at assault mode it really does feel like you are) and seeing Luke and Darth Vader kicking round.

Also it's quite a sight to see a flood of storm troopers coming over the hills in tattooine.

For power ups, hold the (for Xbox) Left bumper and right bumper at the same time. You can tell what your power up is on your lower right of the HUD. Vehicles are timed for their activation ie. You have 12 seconds-ish to activate the AT-AT, AT-ST, and ships which is awesome because then you dont have some person running around the map bogarting the vehicle power up without using it. The AT-AT is a temp vehicle in that you can only use it for 60 seconds before getting the boot and someone else can pick up the token but the AT-ST and ships you can use for the entire map unless you get destroyed or jump out but basically once people see an ST, you've become their target. I can rack up a lot of kills in it but I've also been killed pretty damn quick because I was a walking target.

It's not, some of it is kind of a similar composition to some past Star Wars music, but they nailed the orchestral sound really well so it blends in nicely. But it's definitely not as good as something by Williams

Loving this game so far, haven't played a Star Wars game for awhile. Definitely has the feel of the others and puts you like you're right in the movie. It's a bit easy but there is still a competitiveness in it. Can really go on some big streaks using the AT-ST or hero pickups. I've been on 30+ kill steaks with them

I hear it won't have any campaign?

You heard correct, wasted opportunity given how nice it looks and sounds. I found the Beta fun last night, I'm already getting bored of the same three modes. Unless they add a lot more to the full game, it may not have much to offer long term.

I'm guessing they didn't have time for single player because of a time crunch to release before the movie. I hope it does have a lot more to it. I'll buy it no doubt, not gonna lie to myself and I know I'll enjoy it just to see and play the Star Wars characters and the movie locations. And it does seem to have good game play mechanics.

From what I played , it was really great. Sound and graphics are awesome. The only thing that slightly worries me is whether the weapons can be customised with new scopes... Dice havnt commented on this yet.

Great so far tho.

game looks and plays fantastic... but as mentioned.. I have a feeling you can get bored pretty fast.. Drop Zone is not doing any for me. Hoth is most fun IMO but not sure for how long .....
