Snap to the above two posts. I love Star killer also. The first Force unleashed in particular was excellent!! I'll have to play the second again but I remember being a little disappointed for some reason. Short campaign was it? Can't remember tbh.

Yeah short campaign was its downfall..... and repetitive gameplay..... still ok though

that Stormtrooper death :horror

Pretty sure I'm not...

I don't think I'm the one struggling to comprehend things here. My point was you're coming across badly by trying to big yourself up and fire down everybody elses opinions due to you being so hardcore. :lol It is funny though, so thank you for that at least.

Still do not understand.... Hardcore gamers... play way more than casual gamers. Therefore i know more people in the industry than you. Therefore a friend of a friend who has seen the gameplay said do not worry about some of the issues. My, "casuals complaining" remark was the truth. I trust my friend that the game will be good so i am not worried, therefore not complaining.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?

What is this.... the third time I try explaining for you to understand.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?

Yes, I understan it is pointless trying to talk to you, please refer to my last post as we're going around in circles...

So a friend of a friend gave a personal opinion on it and that's insider information that over rules everybody else's early concerns? I think Hardline is a POS cash grab, my opinion, others seem to like it so let's not take a second hand opinion as fact just yet.

Also, nobody is being sensitive, just amused at a self proclaimed hardcore legend that seems to believe us casual apes can have no opinion on the matter. But that's cool. We're all hoping this turns out great, but it is hard to be impressed by the early details.

No space battles just baffles me. Battlefront 2 had that on last gen and this can't? :slap

Non-traditional campaign to me suggests a string of mutiplayer maps against bots with a fragments of a story like Destiny.

Why the hell exclude PT? While the movies werent beloved the vehicle and characters design sure as hell was and it sucks there'll be no Coruscant, Mustacar or a naboo with Republic or Confederate vehicles

I'll echo the comments about games feeling more special in the olden days. Sure there are some gems these days but most fall into the DLC, yearly entry, micro-transaction hole.

Screw that noise. Not letting Disney tell me what is and isn't Star Wars.

Starkiller was awesome and that along with the PT And CW and even Tag and Bink are still Star Wars

Whoa whoa whoa... NO PT SW BF... Oh **** naw.... Uh uh... Start a riot right now. Torch the damn Disney Castles!

Rogue Squardron 2 had plenty

Kinda made me dizzy

Prefer land terrain plus theres probably gonna be a lot of dlc expansion packs

That is kind of the problem. 8 years ago, BF2 included it all. This time around we'll be shafted by the modern day practice of splitting a game up to sell parts of it for even more money later on. It's all a bit tragic now.

Keep in mind that EA only signed with Disney to make Star Wars games two years ago (May 2013). To my knowledge, that s a short time to have a console game start from scratch and then be released only two years later. Early on it was probably decided, ,we have a launch window of (x) and so here's what we will do and won't do to make that launch window".

The game is practically done by now, they're probably doing QA testing and fixing all and any bugs. Also keep in mind this is DICE, they probably ended development "early" to fix any bugs so they do not have another BF4 fiasco.

Everyone is in it for the money. It's a fact of life.
8 years ago the internet didn't have the bandwidth to do what they can do now.

id say more than 8. but ive been playing pc games since the early 90s, and back in the day, there were user mods and maps and skins and free downloadable content updated and they had expansions. its a shame to see how it has devolved.

Well considering Free Radical had worked on it, and now that I just read a bit more, Crytek UK previously Free Radical are developers. I'm certain they pretty much had it going right, and just needed current tech and experience to make it the best Battlefront. Don't really think we can have them use the "get it down now" excuse.

True, but it's Danger Close; the MoH guys. That does make me weary. Though my hopes is that DICE will be hitting it hard for Battlefield 5.

Ahhh man, Free Radical were one of the best companies around, it was such a shame what happened to them! They certainly looked to have things in order alright. Imagine the modern day equivalent if Free Radical were around to do this now!!..

Notice also how he goes from ground to space..
