They upped it to $170 a night yesterday as I said. But if you go through them you can click "Promotional/Special" rates at the bottom of the reservations screen and get the Internet special or AAA special. Knocks it down to $153 a night. Still higher than what it was... but can save ya $17 a night. Better than $170 a night.

Reasons I went with this place were these: 1) Right across the street from the con. Considering it'll be 100 degrees - this was a must. 2) It has a lounge/bar - a MUST for any good con experience 3) It has a 24 hour deli that serves pizza, snacks and all that. When I'm drunk at 3:00 a.m., I'll see you all there! 4) It's a four star hotel. I'm past the point in my life where I'll stay in some scummy dive.

Yeah I saw the change on Orbitz. I asked where you booked since Orbitz has $40 off 3 nights and $75 off 4 nights codes. I have to save money since I have to book hotels for Megacon and SDCC and then probably the Star Wars Celebration.

And I am also past the point of staying at scummy dives. LOL
